Wow. The AP is just now discovering this? And they expect us to depend on them to deliver the news? Astounding!

Now, as $$$$ as our god, many are raising their children to be the same way $$$ = love.

“...Close to half say religion and spirituality are very important...”
Not a very good stat...apparently most say that all that God stuff is not very important.

The folks who pretend to care about children (i.e. Democrats) should take note that Family and Religion contribute to children's welfare, while early sexual experience detracts from their happiness.
So, prayer in school and abstinence only sex ed will gain momemtum from this, right? Hello? Anybody care?

And if they have an unhappy home life, they’ll probably go through life never really finding happiness.

Finally, when asked to name their heroes, nearly half of respondents mentioned one or both of their parents. The winner, by a nose: Mom. I'm so hurt. ;-)

I’d definitely like to see the stats higher. I heard a report on the radio this morning that children need to see their parents praying together and they also need to see their parents living what they say they believe. That’s good advice if parents want their children stating religion and spirituality are very important in their lives.

This poll may provide sobering results to many parents across the nation.

Indeed, Democrats should take note and abandon their attacks against real family ties.

They DON’T care about children - they care about destroying traditional American society and culture.
Daycare and forcing moms into the workforce (through taxation on families) are part of that agenda.

They’ll tune it out.
They WANT to believe that love = stuff.
They prefer to chase the $$$$.

Oh please...get over yourself.

So you're between the ages of 13 and 24. What makes you happy?...Turns out the real answer is quite different. Spending time with family was the top answer to that open-ended question...
While most young people are happy overall with the way their lives are going, there are racial differences: the poll shows whites to be happier, across economic categories, than blacks and Hispanics.Gee, do you think there is a correlation between the lack of happiness and the near complete breakdown of the nuclear family in the Black and Hispanic social communities?

No doubt. It’s perfectly possibe to be poor and happy. With a loving family around you and a belief in yourself, who cares? Especially as a kid. Go out and play in a pond or in the creek.
But with the disintegration of the family, well...
