August 19, 2007 -- IT pays to write a rave review in The New York Times.
The paper's perfume critic, Chandler Burr, admits accepting free samples of a French fragrance to which he'd given a 5-star writeup last year - and then giving the perfume to patrons of a $200-a-head dinner he hosted this month.

Here’s an idea. Let’s all conservatives cancel our subscriptions to liberal papers and use the net to get our news.
‘Perfume critic Chandler Burr’
Why is it I get the feeling this guy doesn’t drive a pickup truck?
All that matters is did he cut the paper in or did he take all the goodies for himself?
How often does a newspaper need a PERFUME CRITIC?
I think you’re on to something.
You still have newspaper subscriptions?
That scent being smelled from the Times buiding is coming from their editorial pages !!!
The Times has a perfume critic?
That's the Times' "house scent"...fish.
This isn’t the only offensive aroma come out of that Dimocrat rag.
The article says he gave the review before they gave him the free samples.........
The only reason that PravdABDNC likes the DNC is that they are the only group more Corrupt than they are. The Mafia is more ethical than the DNC.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Did that quite some time ago... Just wish they quit tossing them on my lawn...

Yah. Newspapers are good for picking up dog crap but even there plastic bags are better. The plastic bag they wrap the newspaper in is more useful than the contents, actually, unless you have birds.
But “we” conservatives continue to tune in to left wing networks on cable and TV, buy left leaning newspapers, go to left-wing studio movies, send our children to left wing schools and even go into debt sometimes to fund universities that oppose what we stand for . . .
It’s sort of like not buying Chinese. Easier said than done.
Newt Gingrich was at Disney World with his grandchild this week. Meanwhile Disney produces Ellen Degeneres’ show, provides homosexual’s partners benefits, allows gay pride week, or whatever it is that turns Walt Disneys vision on it’s head and makes it camp for gays rather than good for children, etc.
The only top-flight media company I know of that was outside of the mainstream, Big Idea Productions (Veggie-Tales), got swamped by law suits and overinvesment in a movie, and . . . poof . . . taken over. Conservative media HAVE to avoid debt. The financiers and media corporations are not friends of conservatives or Christians.
Rant over.
Perhaps it's the writing?
Burr did review Sel de Vetiver last Dec. 3, calling it "riveting . . . as unearthly as a god born in the cold under an eerily bright star."
Ooookayyeeee
I want to see Murdoch purchase the NYT just to watch the moonbats’ heads explode.
ALL the N Y Slimes pages are in reality Editorial Pages!
