Kevin McCullough: "Radical Gay Activist: WE LOSE"

This week, in her own words, for an ABC News story that was to be written in support of a more tolerant view towards college campus bisexual liberality, radical gay activist Roberta Sklar conceded the entire debate of the radical homosexual activist agenda. In doing so she conceded the most important truth of the matter to the people who have argued the biblio-centric view of marriage and family. She also caved in her own chances of furthering her radical beliefs. Beliefs that only thirty years ago were considered abnormalities in human behavior.

In other words - gay activist Roberta Sklar - lost the gay debate.

How'd she do it?

Here's what she said this week:

Sklar said a growing number of young women have a "more flexible view" of their sexual partners, and their early choices of gender may not be a "fixed path."

Radical Gay Blasphemy! It is hard-wired genetics, there is no choice.

I guess Melissa Etheridge would give Ms. Sklar the same treatment she gave Bill Richardson when he WRONGLY (in Etheridge’s view) said that homosexuality is a choice.

Prove it! If you can read the truth and still deny, who do you really think you are fooling? Only yourself my friend, only yourself. If you choose to be gay, then just be gay. What's the big deal? Just because it is a sin doesn't bother you so have at it.

God is not mocked. Where do you choose to spend eternity? Smoking or Non.

Some people can see sarcasm if it slaps them across the face. I called it ‘racial gay blasphemy’ and you took the position that I was serious?

Didn't you mean "can't see sarcasm"...

Excuse me for jumping on you, it's just one of my pet peeves and I took it you were actually defending homosexuality. It makes me see red and....well I'm sorry.

Articles like this one are painful to read, because it discusses a problem at the end of the process, rather than at the beginning. We discuss the topic the G&L community choose, not the cause of the problem that society indavertently created for itself when it reluctantly succumbed to the pleas for tolerance. Recall, that thirty years ago, there was nothing, zero, controversial or subject to challenge, societal or legal, about the following statement:

Beliefs that only thirty years ago were considered abnormalities in human behavior.

The debate then focused completely and exclusively on the notion that, given that statement as fact, request for tolerance was the single and only subject on the table. All the pleas, debates, articles, community meetings focused on the request for tolerance and the extent to which society could or was willing to accomodate those requests. The demands came later.
It should go without saying that tolerance by definition is given, not demanded. The practicioners of the deviancy never challenged the definition and settled status of millenia.

Viewed thus plainly, stripped of all the rhetoric and hyperbole, the following questions scream to be asked, discussed and the problems they address solved:

How did we get from tolerance to mandatory education in what was then clearly and uncontroversially deviant and criminal behavior?

That is the critically needed unwritten article. The twisted path from societal outcast to victimhood to mastery.

If that story has been written clearly, logically and thoroughly, in book form, in magazine or blog article, I've missed it.

“Since modern liberalism’s true goal is the actual eradication of God, moral values, and the ideas of absolute right vs. wrong, it should surprise no one that not a single leftist politician in America has denounced Distasio. Nor did they denounce Levine. The truth is liberals seek sexual utopia where no rules apply. Restraint has in fact become a dirty word to them. Self control - a throughly foreign concept.”

The above is from the comments section, written by someone named Matthew.

Matthew epitomizes the current status of the debate. Gays decry and condemn opinion and what they view as dogmatic societal views which have existed for eons, and observations of the results of the last 30 years or so and condemn them as arbitrary, subjective and then follow with equally but ludicrous unfounded "facts" in the next paragraph, often in the next sentence!

How symbolic.

A gay demonstrator holds a rainbow flag above his head as he shouts slogans during a protest against General Peter Pace, Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chief of Staff, in New York's Time's Square, March 15, 2007. Protestors were calling for Pace to be fired after comments he made in a recent interview calling homosexual acts immoral.

Show me yours. I'm gonna show you mine

In the homo rainbow

Many colors in the homo rainbow
You give me shade from black to yellow
Many colors in the homo rainbow
A warm embrace and a kind-a hello

Of course sexual behavior is a choice - human beings decide who they will mate with. Our ability to make that choice is what separates us from the beasts. Homosexual activists have argued people are like animals in that they have a sexual compulsion no one can change. Now one of their own is arguing it doesn't exist. Yes, the debate is now over.

Good grief! I guess the /sarc tag is becoming mandatory now.

Yeah, I think having to tag it takes most of the impact away from it, but I understand people making a quick read don't always get it. Some even refuse to think a comment was meant as sarcastic after it was pointed out. I have even had one who really hated me for it and no matter that 4 or 5 other posters agreed it was obviously meant as sarcasm continually posted hateful attacks. Perhaps I will start to tag, but it is hard to teach an old dog new tricks.

If the media have any view on this, it will disappear down the rabbit hole. They are fully invested in the theory that sexual orientation is hardwired, rather than a choice in the matter.

Gays are the closest thing to pure narcissists to date; if all that was left was a knothole in a fence, they’d want to take the fence home with them.

This subject must be debated and resolved outside of any religious reference or citations. We are a secular society with a secular government. No one seriously means to change that.
I take my faith seriously and feel perfectly comfortable in my exercise of it, but refuse to use it in this sort of debate. The nexus between civilized society and Christianity is a long and well documented one, and the means by which rights and laws may or may not descend from that religion is a rich and fascinating subject, which should engage every thinking human being, as it did CS Lewis and GK Chesterton.

But that is another discussion entirely and contributes nothing to the light in discussing the role of deviants in our current society, and the proper response from the rest of us.

It does, unfortunately, tend to derail civil and rational discussion altogether.

And it is not just the media, but universities and even particularly medical students are taught that it is hardwired despite the lack of any evidence.
