ROCHELLE Do drug dealers issue gift cards if their buyers arent satisfied with the product? Apparently a Rochelle woman thought so when she called the local police to help get her money back after she was unhappy with the crack cocaine she had bought Thursday night. Juanita Marie Jones, 53, of 957 Gordon St. called Rochelle Police late Thursday night after she purchased what she thought was a $20 piece of crack cocaine, she said. She told officers she broke the rock into three pieces and smoked one, only to discover the rock was fake. She told Officer Joel Quinn and Deputy John Shedd of the Wilcox County Sheriffs Office that she wanted them to get her money back. Jones took the officers into her kitchen and showed them the alleged fake rock at which time they arrested her on charges of possession of cocaine. She was taken to the Rochelle Police Department where she is awaiting a bond hearing.

So if it’s not crack, is there a crime?
Regardless, some people are beyond stupid.

Her life is probably so wasted she doesn’t mind an arrest if it gets the phony dealer in trouble.

Although she is totally ineligible, I nominate Juanita for a honorary Darwin Award.

How can she be booked on possession when the coke was fake?

she THOUGHT it was fake....obviously, it wasn’t!

If they charged her with possession of cocaine, then I guess it was real. In which case, they should also charge her with filing a false police report. Her drug dealer should step forward to sue her for slander and defamation of character.

And probably could prevail except this idiot gal is what’s called “judgement-proof” - nothing to take.

ROFLMAO. There was a Cops episode a few years ago that had a woman complaining to the police that the woman she gave her money to for cocaine kept the money and produced no dope. Proof positive that stuff fries your wee little mind.
