Nice graphics, interesting rundown. You know I disagree with you on some conclusions you make. I do my own research when it comes to something important. But you know that.
Is this an ambush, when I’m trying so hard to be civil?
I gave a donation to Fred’s campaign this weekend, in your honor. Fred thanks you.
I’m with Fred, but you knew that. Good luck to Hunter.

In total, GOA tracked 33 votes in the U.S. Senate while (Fred) Thompson was there. He voted pro-gun 19 times. Those votes are detailed below:
http://www.gunowners.org/pres08/thompson2.htm
Voting in favor of gun owners only half of the time is not Generally CONSERVATIVE in my view.

Another reason I'll trust Mitt Romney before I will Fred Thompson is seeing how intensely the enemedia dislike him. While Fred is getting friendly interviews and softball questions, it is becoming clear to me that the media absolutely loathes Mitt.
Maybe this will change when Fred actually gets into the race, but while Fred is avoiding pressure situations, Mitt is handling them reasonably well.

I don't agree with Hunter on trade issues but like him otherwise. You don't believe in fair trade practices between the US and other countries? Hunter has been falsely portrayed as a protectionist. He is not against free trade, he is against one-side agreements with the US on the losing side. He wants to make sure that we remain competive and on an equal playing field, so we don't wake up one day to find that nothing has a 'Made in the USA' label on it anymore.

I like Fred more than Rudy McRomney, but none of them come close to Duncan Hunter.
DUNCAN HUNTER actually had a fence built which stopped drug trafficking and crime in San Diego, and HUNTER authored the bill for a fence from California thru Texas, which was signed into law, and HUNTER got us ABS deployed in Alaska, and HUNTER built up the defense that Bill Clinton tore down, and got equipment and weapons to protect our troops, and our country, when he Chaired the House Armed Services Committee (when the Republicans had the majority), and HUNTER went to Iraq FIVE times, and HUNTER did some tough fighting duty in Nam and won a medal, and HUNTER has a son who did two tours in Iraq, including Fallujah, and is now doing a 3rd tour in Afghanistan, so HUNTER has a lot a stake personally, as well.
Thats just a little bit of what HUNTER has DONE, while the other candidates talk or write articles.

fyi, Duncan Hunter voted yay for free trade with Australia, because it was in our country’s interest.
We have an approximately $275 BILLION trade imbalance with Red China, which is becoming a military superpower from American dollars. Duncan Hunter voted against a Most Favored status with Red China.

I already told you, it’s not about supporting one candidate. It’s about supporting the GOP against Hillary in 2008. I will support whomever wins the nomination. I simply want the best candidate to secure victory to win. There is no one in the Republican field who could do even a fraction of the damage that Hillary or any of the Democrats running would unquestionably do.
Unfortunately, the Hunter mob is doing more damage to our eventual nominee than all the Democrats put together could muster. That’s not good for anyone in the end.
I really like Duncan Hunter as a person and as a candidate. It is extremely regrettable that his supporters are so toxic that they have made so many people look forward to his departure from the race, just so they may finally shut up.

I’m new here, and I never knew Iowa was such a liberal state. Maybe Hunter is saving his time and money for a better target of opportunity. Plus there’s that day job he has fighting for our country! ;)

That’s why he didn’t have much time to campaign in Iowa - he was working on Iraq issues.
In the past he has won, or came in top 3, in straw polls even when Romney outspent him at least 2 - 1.

One political writer said that if Duncan Hunter becomes president, we may be looking back at him in the future, and say we need another DUNCAN HUNTER - just as we do with Ronald Reagan.

I wouldn’t laugh because I have thought the same thing. Duncan Hunter in the general election against Hillary would win in a bigger landslide than any other candidate. He would bring in the republican, independent and Reagan Democrat vote. His issues are right on the money with the mood of the country, his resume is strong and he is very likeable and personable once people learn about him. I also think he will be hard to smear by the MSM. Most of the other candidates have some character flaws or past stated positions that will come back to haunt them.

Hunter doesn’t have an entire cemetary in his closet, like Hillary. Everyone else has at least one or two bones.
I research a bit and try and find reasons not to vote for the candidates. No matter how hard I try, I just can’t find any reason not to vote for Hunter. I have absolutely no doubt about this man.
