A co-owner of the Crandall Canyon coal mine, where six men were trapped following a cave-in on Aug. 6, 2007, recently got into a combative debate with U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer -- over the carbon emissions from his mines.
Robert Murray, vice president of Murray Energy Corp., testified before a Senate committee on June 28, 2007.
"You people inside the Beltway, you Senators... don't have the foggiest idea what a person does to pack a lunch and go to work, or wear a hard hat," Murray said, angrily.

That wouldn’t take much in the best of circumstances. Here this man is under incredible pressure trying to rescue these people out of his mine and that pesky senator is in his face—she’s lucky she didn’t get worse.

The exchange between Murray and Boxer took place six weeks before the mine caved in.

I'm not going to argue with you, sir," Boxer said. "But I don't appreciate you attacking the members of this committee." Senator Boxer
I guess that cowardly bitch thinks he appreciates her gratuitous insults. She has the manners of a pig. What a POS.

Damn, Bob Murray, for whatever fault he bears for the mine problem (I’m not judging that!), he sure is a heck of a guy for telling Barbara Boxhead to “talk to the hand”! :)

Thank God there is someone in this country who will stand up to these blowhard Senators. They work for US, we aren't just "little people" they can pee on with criticism. Boxer wanted to use this guy for a punching bag in order to look tough in front of her dip$hit constituents.

Boxer is without doubt the least intelligent person in the Congress. Sorry, I have to disagree...

Patty Murray, Socialist-Washington:
""Why is [Osama bin Laden] so popular around the world?"..."He's been out in these countries for decades, building schools, building roads, building infrastructure, building daycare facilities, building health-care facilities--and the people are extremely grateful. We haven't done that."
