Jack Cafferty Just Blamed Bush For Minn Bridge Colapse
CNN | 8-02-2007

Posted on 08/02/2007 4:15:15 PM PDT by My Favorite Headache

Jack Cafferty was just on CNN with Wolf Blitzer and said that if we weren't spending a total of 1 Trillion dollars in Iraq we could have repaired that bridge and all of the bridges in the U.S.A. instead of building new bridges for roads in Iraq.

He laid blame on...guess who? But of course...Bush!

When all else fails...CNN and the Liberals find a way to blame Bush.

Don't the Democrats run that state for the most part?

And Mike Barnicle asks if the bridge collapse is “good for the Democrats”...???

Cafferty needs to be relieved of his job.

If we weren’t spending $150,000,000.00 on pork for John Murtha ....

[Iraq has cost $446 billion, not $1 trillion. Costofwar.com shows the true number.]

And the vast amount of that has been spent in THIS country.

I’ve got my beef with Bush, but this is preposterous. The bridge was inspected. It was deemed safe. Bush isn’t reponsible for that. Stick it McCafferty.

I think your tagline would be more accurate if it said: Democrats hate Bush even more than they hate their country.

IF it was inspected and cleared in error, then the inspector can explain himself, not Bush. And I wouldn’t mind seeing that take place. Too many idiots do a half-ass job in critical positions then get a free pass.

Yeah, I’m sure the liberals would have just rushed out and spent all that money to repair bridges.

Sure.

It’s no use.

The answer to all problems, personal and political is now:

BUSH’S FAULT.

And don’t forget the retort to anything:
BUSH LIED ABOUT ______! (insert here)

in this case, “bridges!”

They were in the process of repairing the bridge when it collapsed. Seems to me like they had money.

I’m just hoping one of Haliburton’s subsidiarys wins the contract to replace the bridge.

Isn’t Cafferty that drunk that hit a guy on a bike, and ran?

In NYC?

Just heard on H&C that a train was running under the bridge at the time. Do you suppose its possible the train derailed and started this whole thing? Huh?

Just found this article, but I can't post a thread using this site:

Bridge problems uncovered in 1990

If only President Clinton hadn't been doing XYZ in the Oval Office, maybe this bridge would have been fixed.

Just ridiculous.
