"Am I the only one who thinks this report will probably get these hostages killed?" I expect doing nothing would get them killed too. The last I heard, the Taliban had them spread out at a number of locations. They will likely get to some before the others. Not good news for some.

AOL/Time Warner own CNN now, not Teddie, I think. Ted’s the founder, though, but he made a very bad bidness decision, lol.

I remember CNN’s cameras being right there when US troops landed for the Gulf War. If I’d been Stormin’ Norman, I’d have shot at the camera crews and warned them to get the hell out of the area.

No, you are not the only one who thought that this report might get the hostages killed. My first response when I heard the report was, “How STUPID!!! Just telegraph our plans to the enemy, why don’t you.” These idiots do not know the meaning of discretion. Just blurt it out, get that scoop.

Maybe we should trade Heidi Collins for one or two of the hostages...

Yes, CNN hates America....now they hate S Korea and Christians too.

I think CNN hates Republican administrations...not so much America.
If Clinton were in the White House, the war would be reported differently...and the economic boom would be on Page 1. ABOVE the fold!

Many years ago, I saw a gossip column item (Atlanta Constipation-Journal?) that quoted a now-forgotten semi-celebrity in Hollywood as saying that Turner's breath was even worse than Clark Gable's (who had HORRIFYING breath).
The greatest injustice is that CNN's God-hating Communistic founder continues to breathe oxygen.

There’s a sickness in the land and CNN is only one of the outward manifestations. Journalistic license allows CNN to act in a manner that would be unacceptable for a lowly citizen. Thankfully, everyone associated with the organization is too stupid to understand the impact of their actions on the perceptions of the American public.
The left is their own worst enemy. They reveal themselves in ways we never could.
Surprise is the best weapon a rescue team could have. CNN has demonstrated it’s unwillingness to allow the hostages to be rescued. It is good that the public should see this. This is afterall what CNN has become, permiated with evil from the top of the organization down.
Those pushing Marxism around the world and particularly in the US, are personified by CNN’s actions here. Let them wear it with pride as we look on with righteous indignation.
My sympathies go out to the hostages. My utter contempt goes out to CNN and it’s fellow travelers.

I didn't see CNN's report, but it was apparently based on remarks by an Afghan official to reporters -
Reuters - Taliban hostage rescue begins
If the Afghan officials are publicizing this information, it's going to get reported.
