Just heard it on John Gibson's Big Story. I hope I'm wrong but that's how I heard it.

Praying for the health of the Chief Justice.

This excerpt from a CNN report:

Sources close to the chief justice said Roberts suffered an unexplained seizure in 1993, soon after his first nomination to the D.C. circuit stalled in the Senate.

Friends blamed the seizure on stress from the confirmation fight, and Roberts limited certain activities such as driving after it happened. But after a few weeks, the problem went away, and he has since not suffered any health crises, the sources said.

I can’t believe the level of breathlessness and panic something as simple as a fainting spell can cause.

This is the height of irresponsible.

Then have you reported it to the Admin group/Jim Rob for corrections, deletion, action, etc?...... If not then don’t you have to take some of the irresponsibility you speak of?....

I just hope he had the seizure and then fell instead of falling and having one.

Ignorant people will do that!

Some 25 years ago, while I was a teaching assistant at American University (DC) I happened to be talking to the professor in charge of the course about certain student who had petit mal. The professor stated that "everybody knows that people with epilepsy are retarded". I looked down to her, reminded her that I had a GPA of 4.0 and IQ of 140. I added that I had epilepsy, grand mal, and I took offense at her comments. Next I went to the department chairman and asked to be assigned to some other professor the following semester!

Since then I had heard many ignorant people make derogatory comments about people with epilepsy. But that was my first experience and it upset me more than I can describe with words. OTOH I went on to get a Ph.D. in molecular biology, publish a number of papers, get married, have children... currently I teach at a local college, convenient to my childrens' school. And, other than one 6-month stint without driving, I have pretty much done as I pleased... epilepsy or not. Justice Roberts may or may not have epilepsy, but it takes a democrat to think that it would interfere with his ability to do his job!

Seizures are frigtening things. I had 5 grand mals in 1988, before my doctor put me on medication to control them. I was 38 at the time. I was fine until 1999, got careless about taking the medication, and had another one.

I’m sure there are reporters at the hospital waiting for info, not going through a government screener.

An acquaintance had two grand mals within half a year. For a while took medicine, then stopped it, and has not had any for the past twenty-five years.

In keeping with the intolerance of the radical left, here is a quote from the hateful bastard ThomasWV over at the sick daily kos lookalike website “Democratic Underground”:

Post #2. I don’t care what anyone says, I hope its a stroke and I hope it kills him.

You can bet every ruling he makes from now on will generate a chorus of Dem accusations that he's suffered brain damage and can't serve effectively.

I wonder how Senator Johnson is doing in his recovery?
