Abortion is a "Perfect demonic system" says Human Life International President

FRONT ROYAL, VA, July 27, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Rev. Thomas J. Euteneuer, president of Human Life International, the world's largest pro-life organization, has stated that abortion is the same bloodthirsty and ritual sacrifice of babies to a demonic god that occurred throughout history and across cultures.
Euteneuer speaks from years of experience as a pro-life activist and an exorcist. According to the HLI website, he has participated in many prayer vigils, pilgrimages, and picketing events since his early priesthood. As HLI President, an organization that networks pro-life activists in 80 countries across the globe, he has visited more than fifty countries and traveled over 700,000 miles. In addition, he has been featured by countless national and international media and received several notable awards.
Speaking from this wealth of practical and spiritual experience, Euteneuer recently explained the demonic nature of abortion, noting that Jesus himself called the devil, "a murderer from the beginning" (Jn 8:44). Approaching abortion from a spiritual perspective, he explained, "The spiritual dimension of this grisly 'business' is its systematizing of ritual blood sacrifice to the god of child murder, Moloch."
He also noted that this "bloodthirsty" beast is well known not only through the Old Testament but in many different cultures throughout history as well. "This demon is not content with a single act of murder here and there," he said. "His insatiable appetite for the death of innocents seeks public endorsement to justify his gruesome deeds, and he needs a systematic expression of it to increase his worship."
In his upcoming book on exorcism, Euteneuer writes, "The modern abortion industry offers ritual blood sacrifice to the ancient abortion demon. It is in every way a demonic religion.
- It has its sacred dogma ("choice"),
- its ruling hierarchy (Planned Parenthood),
- its theologians (feminist ideologues),
- its sacrificing priesthood (abortionists),
- its temples (abortion mills),
- altars (surgical tables),
- ritual victims (primarily babies and secondarily women),
- acolytes and sacristans (clinic workers and death-escorts),
- congregations (all supporters of abortion) and
- its own unifying principle of sacramental "grace" (money).
"In short, the abortion industry is a perfect demonic system which offers a perverse form of worship to the devil."
"The sacrificial victim in this demonic religion is not a brute animal as was offered to the Old Testament God of Israel in a legitimate system of religious sacrifices. In abortion, the victim is an innocent human being who is made in the 'image and likeness of God' and who can never defend herself."
"This combination of innocence, parental participation and ritualized obliteration of the visage of God in human form is the devil's way of blaspheming the Father with the misguided participation of God's own children. The systematic destruction of the human body which St. Paul calls 'the temple of the Holy Spirit' is a blasphemous insult to God. If the abortion business is not truly demonic, nothing is."
Commenting on these excerpts, Euteneuer stated, "From this perspective, the need for a deeply spiritual approach to ending the abortion holocaust is fundamental. It does not absolve us from working in every way humanly possible to end abortion, but it puts all our human activity into the right perspective."
Referring to July as the traditional month of the Precious Blood, he exhorted people to "cover every abortionist, abortion mill and client of the abortion industry with Christ's Blood in order to conquer the blood sacrifice of the devil with the greatest force of good known to man."
Euteneuer concluded hopefully, "If His Blood is properly applied over time with great love, we will see conversions from even the most devoted advocates of abortion. The Blood of Christ is a strong shield for all who pray and work for life and reminds us that our pro-life work brings us to Calvary to stand in solidarity with the unborn child who is unjustly deprived of life."

I think you will find this article interesting.
MountainFlower, I think you mentioned Molech the other day.

“Baal and Moloch”? Get real. We all want to stop abortion. But when a guy goes off and gets all goofy about child sacrifice and like that, the whole cause gets tarred with the wacko brush.
It’s not about Baal. It’s about the tragic loss of potential people.

No, its not about a known god, its about a false god, the god of materialism, health, whatever. I’ve done a Bible study on God’s reaction to child sacrifice when King Manasseh of Israel did not believe God was real, so he sacrificed his firstborn to molech by burning him alive. God said He was not going to forgive the NATION of Israel for practicing this and had them invaded by the Babylonians. America is being invaded. Europe is being invaded. Africa is a mess. Today’s Babylonians are growing all over the world. Do you think its a coincidence that terrorism and abortion became prevalent together? Wacko? Only to those who don’t want to see.

Some are misguided. If they agree or think that the line "a woman can choose what will be done with HER body for HER health" sounds right without doing any further discerning, by accepting it, they automatically buy into the deceitful assumptions that go along with it. What are they? That she then has a right to decide to kill the baby within her body, that any excuse for a health issue is good reason, and you know the list.
The Moloch and Baal worship...the same spirit regardless of country boundaries. This spiritual battle has been going on since Bible times. Satan cannot create anything new, he can only try to give it a face lift and a new look. (or different verbage on the lie and a different gimmick, re-'stem cell research, the humanitarian thing to do, finding cures for everyone'.)

So true. They will be surprised when they end up in Hell for killing a soul, won’t they?

Sobering post, and deadly serious. There’s a lot to think about here. What must God be thinking of our country?

If you oppose abortion based on humanist and material considerations, that’s great! Ramesh Ponnuru in “The Party of Death” discusses all the human life issues from the standpoint of natural reason.
However, you have to understand that many people include the supernatural perspective in their lives.

Baal and Moloch? Get real. We all want to stop abortion. But when a guy goes off and gets all goofy about child sacrifice and like that, the whole cause gets tarred with the wacko brush. You are entitled to your opinion. When abortionists, however, refer to this as a "sacrament," and when it reaches on the order of 50 million legal abortions in the U.S. alone since 1973, I think you must begin to consider an insidious spiritual dimension at work as orchestrated by the "Father of Lies and Prince of this world."
Its not about Baal. Its about the tragic loss of potential people.
You speak of these children as "potential people." Would you mind if I call you a potential corpse? That is an analogous proposition. Death is, after all, "the way of all flesh" and the countdown began the moment the ovum from your mom was fertilized by one sperm to begin the single, continuum of LIFE eventually culminating in your last breath...
Good weekend!

I really like this priest. I would like to know what he means by applying over time the blood of Christ to the clinics. He’s not speaking literally, is he? I hope not, but I can’t be sure if he’s talking about the power of prayer or actually taking the Blessed Sacrament and actually applying it physically to the building.
I think I think too much sometimes...

Hes not speaking literally, is he?No, he's talking about spiritually applying the Blood of Christ to the clinics.

Father John Corapi has said that if a Chapel of Perpetual Adoration of the Eucharist was built across the street from every abortion clinic, the abortions in the U.S. would stop. He too believes this is a Spiritual battle.
I think this is what Fr. Euteneuer has in mind and what provoked this chapter in his book.

I was stunned to find this! I Googled “Corapi adoration for abortion” and this link turned up. It states the number of clinics is decreasing in direct proportion to the number of Adoration Chapels. That is astounding.

Abortion isn’t a sacrament, that’s for sure. Neither is it any kind of sacrifice to Moloch. Which is the only thing I was trying to say. This reverend guy is not helping — he’s making everyone around him look wacky. Baal? What in the world?
