No they didn't. Though they would never mouth this publicly in a million years - they've always seen the Soviet system as being superior to the American one. If you doubt it, you can count on the fingers of one hand the criticisms of say Castro's human rights violations that have come from the mouth's of leading Democrats. It's all about the power with them.
I’ve been reading reports like this for months. al Qaeda is truly barbaric, and their extreme brand of Islam is not generally stomached among the masses. The people over there may not care for Americans, and that’s fine with me, but they are just plain getting sick and tired of being threatened and tortured and killed by these al Qaeda demons, and that’s causing them to turn to us out of desperation.
It’s happenening all over Iraq and it’s extremely good news for us and them. This continual garbage talk from the left is dangerous to the whole mission. I can’t stress that enough.
The tide is turning our way. If we leave now, it will be one of the biggest mistakes the US has ever made.
A demasculated, politically correct, feminist, humanist, socialist state like Sweden or Holland, with a political structure and media that gets to define patriotism, conservativism, individualism and serious Christian faith as hate crimes.
They loathe the superiority of western civilization based on Christianity, liimited government and personal freedom.
