We have 60% tomorrow, 30% Sat & Sun and 20% rain in the forecast for the rest of next week.

It may be next Saturday before we get a break from this low pressure system.

Well.....looks like something happened weather wise after I went to bed last night. Everything is covered in dirt! Looks like it rained mud from the sky.....the bottom of the pool is pure brown from the stuff!

I remember growing up the dust storms we’d have just before the rains started - and how awful they smelled. I don’t know if it was creosote, or greasewood, or what - but the winds would come in from the farm lands west of 79th Ave. and they just plain stank! And no, it wasn’t fertilizer...

Now, the pool I had down here had a different problem. The neighbor had desert broom blooming around July, and my pool filter and skimmer would fill up with that cottony fluff that they shed.

Your rain seems to have bypassed us..Lots of green blobs on radar..coming this way or going on either side of us..but nothing here yet.

I hurried and did some hedge trimming..just in case.

Take a look at that loop again. It is heading this way again, and will probably hit right during rush hour. This loop can be zoomed to street level, but you lose the radar image.

Local loop

Much more rain where you are..That loop reaches at least to Dallas..I hope this one doesn’t “stall”..though a shower would be nice.....now that I have done the yardwork!
