Bush is no rocket scientist by any stretch, but if there was ever a doubt why Kerry didn't get elected it is moments like this. Wow.
I’ve read the action reports - just curious as to where SNOPES.com got their information that it was a hoax ... everything I’ve ever read is that Kerry is a liar .....
Snopes carries water for the DNC - they are hardly reliable.

I realize the Killing Fields were in Cambodia...Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam are linked strongly especially after our withdrawl SE Asia. In my mind, the Killing Fields is as much an issue with Vietnam as the USS Cole being attacked in the Middle East. Though the Cole didn't happen here in the states, it was still an attack on a US asset against US personnel. The Killing Fields was a display of millions dying in SE Asia and would likely NOT have happened if the US was still in SE Asia. IMHO.
There was plenty of killing going on in the fields of Vietnam after we cut off the measly 300 million per year at the behest of the John Kerry’s of this world.

I hear the same thing all the time! Drives me nuts. It just goes to show that they both have very efficient staff people; some have probably been there for years, and can pull strings because they know everyone in town!
We're planning a trip to DC, but I'm not even going to contact either of them, or our local commie Rep. to see about getting passes to the WH or Congress. I don't want to have anything to do with them.
The first PH is especially questionable because no documentation supporting the award has been released except for the certificate itself. Kerry's immediate superiors refused to put him in for the award. The doctor who treated him compared the wound to that caused by a rose thorn, with the little piece of metal two centimeters long. It came from the shrapnel from an M-79 fired by Kerry on a training mission in a Boston whaler. It was self-inflicted. The Adm states quite clearly there was no hostile enemy fire. Hence no after action report or casualty report.
After Kerry left the unit, Coastal Div 14, and transferred into a new unit, he mysteriously was awarded the PH three months later. No one knows how it was submitted since his previous CO, Grant Hibbard, refused to submit his PH request. Hibbard said "no way" and told him to "get out of my office." The only thing to substantiate the claim is a treatment report signed three months later. Apparently, Kerry was able to get someone else to sign off on the award in the new unit, but no documentation has been produced showing who signed off on it. I wouldn't put it past Kerry to falsify the submission and forge a signature.
He is right. We were out in ‘73 but still supporting the south financially. In ‘75 the Congress stopped the funding (sound familiar?), that’s when the horrors began.
I asked that question years ago....historically, has it ever been done before? Two stars and four PH in less than four months?
