The robots ask stupid questions that a young child would ask.

I agree, especially the Nazi Pelosi robot.

If they start seeing a market for these items in Shrillery Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Helen Thomas versions then we’ll know that DU and DailyKos freaks have become big spenders on the only dates they can get......

Some woman should come up with an inflatable baby and then go to court to make these guys pay inflated support!

Shrillery Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Helen Thomas

There's not enough silicone in the world to reproduce those monsters!

SEE! An engineer would've never designed those responses in!

So let me understand this. The guy puts this doll in the bed and she/it just lays there completely motionless and unresponsive while he goes at it? Gee... wouldn’t this be like having sex with a corpse... or my ex-wife?

I think they would be a perfect replacement for Katie. Just get one to open and close it’s mouth.... preferably closed.

Ahhh, I can see it now... the ultimate femalien. But just think about how many more sales trips one would have to make to Japan.

(Okay, I just felt a little nauseous again...)

“I don’t know whether to shudder or throw up.”

That’s why men prefer dolls. You women just can’t make up your mind.

:)

What is it with these people and robots?

Technophilia has everything to do with control. Technophiles have trouble relating to other free actors, because they can't control them. Machines can be controlled; human beings can't. This case is the supreme example.

Frog story, different version:

Two young daughters of the CEO of the company I used to work for were walking in a park when they heard a frog speak. "Help! I'm an engineer and I was turned into a frog by an evil wizard. If one of you beautiful girls will just kiss me once, I can be my real self again". One of the girls picked up the frog and dropped it in her coat pocket. "Wow!" said her sister. "Are you gonna kiss it?"

"Nah . . . Daddy says engineers are a dime a dozen, but a talking frog must be really rare!"

The technology may be a shade better, but the idea is the same:

Artist: The Mills Brothers Lyrics
Song: Paper Doll Lyrics
- written by Johnny S. Black, 1915
- lyrics as recorded by The Mills Brothers in 1942

I’m gonna buy a Paper Doll that I can call my own
A doll that other fellows cannot steal
And then the flirty, flirty guys with their flirty, flirty eyes
Will have to flirt with dollies that are real

When I come home at night she will be waiting
She’ll be the truest doll in all this world
I’d rather have a Paper Doll to call my own
Than have a fickle-minded real live girl

I guess I had a million dolls or more
I guess I’ve played the doll game o’er and o’er
I just quarrelled with Sue, that’s why I’m blue
She’s gone away and left me just like all dolls do

I’ll tell you boys, it’s tough to be alone
And it’s tough to love a doll that’s not your own
I’m through with all of them
I’ll never ball again
Say boy, whatcha gonna do?

I’m gonna buy a Paper Doll that I can call my own
A doll that other fellows cannot steal
And then the flirty, flirty guys with their flirty, flirty eyes
Will have to flirt with dollies that are real

When I come home at night she will be waiting
She’ll be the truest doll in all this world
I’d rather have a Paper Doll to call my own
Than have a fickle-minded real live girl
