Unholy Terror: Bosnia, Al-Qa'ida, and the Rise of Global JihadBook by John Schindler Description Al-Qaida: in the 80s they were in Afghanistan, supported by America and fighting the Russians. In the new century they have metastasized throughout the worlds geopolitical body. Where were they in the 90s? Unholy Terror provides the answer, with all its terrifying implications for our world today.
This book provides the missing piece in the puzzle of al-Qaidas transformation from an isolated fighting force into a lethal global threat: the Bosnian war of 1992 to 1995. John R. Schindler reveals the unexamined role that radical Islam played in that terrible conflict--and the ill-considered contributions of American policy to al-Qaidas growth. His book explores a truth long hidden from view: that, like Afghanistan in the 1980s, Bosnia in the 1990s became a training ground for the mujahidin. Unholy Terror at last exposes the shocking story of how bin Laden successfully exploited the Bosnian conflict for his own ends--and of how the U. S. Government gave substantial support to his unholy warriors, leading to blowback of epic proportions.

The long hidden truth is that Bosnia played the same role for al-Qaida in the 1990s that Afghanistan did in the 1980s, providing a battleground where mujahidin could learn to wage holy war. Schindler exposes how Osama bin Laden exploited the Bosnian conflict for his own ends and the disturbing level of support the U.S. government gave to the Bosnian mujahidinjust as had been done with the Afghan mujahidin. Repeating the mistakes of Afghanistan contributed to blowback of epic proportions: Khalid Sheikh Muhammad (the mastermind of 9/11) and two of the 9/11 hijacker pilots were veterans of the Bosnian jihad.
Unholy Terror is a compelling and meticulously researched step toward finally learning the lessons of Bosnia, which can only help in the continuing battle against Muslim extremists and their global jihad.
From the Back Cover Al-Qaida. In the 1980s they were in Afghanistan, supported by the United States as they fought the Soviets; by the new millennium they were responsible for the deadliest attack on American soil in the history of the republic. Where were they in between, and how did they transform themselves from scrappy Afghan rebels to worldwide threat? This enlightening new book, Unholy Terror, provides the frightening answer: the Bosnian war of 1992 to 1995 was the core of Osama bin Ladens growing global jihad. It is frightening not so much because of the tragedies of that war, but because those tragedies occurred under the nose of the U.S. governmentat times with U.S. complicity.
John R. Schlinder served for nearly a decade with the National Security Agencywork which took him to many countries in support of U.S. and allied forces operating in the Balkansand was NSAs top Balkans expert. He is uniquely qualified to demonstrate
how the Bosnian conflict has been misrepresented by the mainstream media, covering up the large role played by radical Islam and al-Qaida;
how Osama bin Laden used Bosnia as a base for terrorist operations worldwideincluding attacks on the United States from the Millennium Plot to 9/11;
how veterans of the Bosnian jihad have murdered thousands of Americans and conducted terrorist attacks around the world;
how the Clinton administration, in collaboration with Iran, secretly supplied Bosnias mujahidin, including al-Qaida, with millions of dollars of weapons and supplies;
how Americas Bosnian allies have been in covert alliances with radical anti-American regimes in several countries;
why Bosnia and its secret jihad matter to America and our War on Terrorism today. About the Author: John R. Schindler is a professor of strategy at the Naval War College and a former National Security Agency intelligence analyst and counterintelligence officer. He speaks several languages and has published widely on issues of espionage, terrorism, and military history, including the periodicals War in History, the Journal of Strategic Studies, Orbis, Janes Intelligence Review, and the International Journal of Intelligence and Counterintelligence. bttt
Like my tag-line would say in full if FR allowed longer tag-lines:
“And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.” —Slobodan Milosevic
So glad Bill Clinton, The UN and Carla Deponte straightened that all out
Also resulted in pi***ng off Russia to no end.
This certainly needs more attention!
This is a riveting book. I’m just into the third chapter and have learned tons of new information.
That is most certainly true!!!!
muslim "Bosnia" was established to facilitate the islamic conquest of Europe and America, by subversion, terrorism, and the "demographic weapon" (i.e., smuggling illegal muslim immigrants into Western Europe, and getting Western countries to accept thousands of "Bosnian" muslim "refugees".) It also exists to weaken the natural regional power in the area, Christian Serbia, thus further facilitating muslim conquest of the West.
These are the purposes that muslim "Bosnia" still serves today. It is time to end muslim "Bosnia" as we know it!!!!
Got this email from a friend & thought that you would like to know:

Thanks!
Will try to catch it!
Hoppy, this will make your job even harder!
Hoplite is like one of those guys from Swiss Red Cross that have visited Theresienstadt, and even today claim that “It was not concentracion camp for Jews, and that Germans were treating Jews nicley”...
It ain't me attempting to stem the tide of history, F-117A.
Ultimately, the attempt to portray the Serbian attempt to ethnically cleanse 70% of Bosnia as a defensive action against jihadists will fail.
Actually, it already has, you guys just don't see it yet.
Weak Hoppy!
Create a straw man in an attempt to divert attention and completely ignore the reality of Jihad in Bosnia.
Or do you think Jihad is a good thing?
Already covered by Ethan Kohlmann, with his conclusions being borne out by the lack of jihadi activity or fervor displayed by the locals - we have no significant troop presence in Bosnia, and don't need one, because the alarmist pronouncements regarding Islamic fundamentalism and jihadism amongst Bosnian muslims emanating from certain quarters simply don't correspond with reality.
Or do you think Jihad is a good thing?
I'll see your "weak" and raise you a "stupid".
The Serbian military could've easily taken all of the Bosnian region from the muslims and croatians.
Not siding with the Serbs as all sides committed atrocities at some point in time, the Serbian populace has/d a legitimate point in fearing the muslim rule. The late Izetbegovic exacerbated their fears with his published writings and the cabinet appointments he made. Many of his appointments were from the Sandjak region of Serbia proper.
I am not going to post links to back up my facts, someone else can do that.
You know that I am right and your ignoring my posts reinforces your fear of acknowledgement.
Your boy, HDZ or whatever must have had a number done to him courtesy of you. When does your boyfriend move in with you and when does Srebrenica Squawk move out or is it a threesome?
Which is exactly what they would do in a base of operation striking at other places. Ergo, his conclusions are not borne out by the lack of local Jihadist activity as well as being copiously contradicted as shown above.
In other words, we're all on to you, pancakes.
As usual, his argument would be essentially nothing more than what the State Department would provide.
No way. That might show Billy for what he really is.
