Ever wonder where your beliefs were on the LIBERAL versus CONSERVATIVE scale. Here is an easy way to find out by taking this short 25 question quiz.
The following quiz was written by Victor Kamber and Bradley S. O'Leary and appeared in the October 28-30, 1994 issue of USA Weekend. Before you vote in the next election, take this quick, quiz to see where - and with whom - you really stand.

38 Woot!
I got a 33.
My score on the “political compass” quiz was:
Economic Left/Right: 4.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.03
Center/right, very slightly authoritarian.
I diagreed with the wording on many of those questions, too. Some of them needed a “WTF?” option.
I have another one; this seems more acurate to me..
They need to replace those drop-downs with radio buttons.
BTW, the Republican Party scored third for me, behind the Losertarians and the Constitution Party, whoever they are.
Yes, I agree. The wording is obtuse on some of the questions.
30 for me too. we are right where Jack Kemp is but I have to say I am not quite like Kemp. I feel closer to, I don’t know who. I do have to say I liked FDR in spite of his being a lib. I had to put him above Reagan (who had my hart). But for History sake I did it.
I scored 37...woulda been 38 pre-Katrina.
I scored a “32”, between Jack Kemp (whoever he is?) and Bob Dole (who stole Bob Dole’s peanut butter?).
Although I really didn’t need this quiz to know....I’m totally conservative!
I think he went into politics around the time Reagan took office.
I scored a 39, right between Bob Dole & Ronald Reagan!!
This test is MUCH better, and plots you on a chart as well.
Below are a couple of plots from that site. Kucinich libertarian? Huh? Edwards, Obama, and Clinton right of center? I don't think so. Those three plus Kucinich solidly belong in the upper left quadrant. That site needs recalibration.
Week before last, Barron's cover story was an Investors' Guide to the Candidates [pdf]. They put Romney first with a score of 3.8, followed by Giuliani with 3.7, and McCain with 3.5. As for the Donks, they ranked Richardson first with 3.0. Then it was down hill ... the Magic Negro and the Hildebeest were close, at 2.0 and 1.8 respectively. The Silky Pony ranked dead last at 1.5.
80% compatibility with the Constitution Party...whatever that means.
Only 27% compatibility with the Democrat Party.
LOL
A Jack Kemp 30
There is also the F Scale. It dates back to 1950. See the Authoritarian Personality for its origin.
39
39 FWIW.
I scored highest with CP too, I think it means that your views closely matched the constitutional authority, btw the Constitution Party is a political party 2nd biggest after the libertarians, I actually favor them over the libertarians since they also advocate traditional values, ya’ll might want to check them out sometime!
If the republicans nominate a (RINO) Guliani, Romney, McCain as POTUS i’ll likely vote 3rd party in the presidential election (never have before, voted Bush 2-times, even campaigned for him), yet I can’t stomach “more of the same”. Would rather see a real liberal in the WH than a republican that pretends to be conservative!..
