Just a family outing with some good ol fishin gear, whutz all the fuss?
Hmmm, every time in the Raleigh, NC area a white man or black man commits a dangerous crime or is arrested for such, the name 95% of the time is given. Why not here for the man and the woman? Mooselimb on the loose in LA?
I think we camped next to them last week.
Considering what constitutes “a bomb” these days they could have had a bottle of club soda that was shaken too much.
They might have had fireworks...who knows?
You hit the nail right on the head. I think WRAL gets a cash bonus for every name.
Alexandria’s right down the road from us. I wonder what their name is.

Troop E Gets Bomb Scare in Front Lot
(Alexandria, LA) This morning at approximately 8:00 a.m., 22 year old Tyler Scott Cruse of Jena, entered the Troop E lobby and advised the desk sergeant that he thought there was a bomb in his truck which was parked in front parking lot. He told the sergeant he thought someone was after him and that they had placed the bomb in the truck. He said he heard a “beeping noise” and wasn’t sure if there was really one or not.
As a safety precaution, a five hundred foot perimeter was closed off including LA 1 and Odom Street in front of Troop E. There was also one house evacuated near the troop. The Louisiana State Police Emergency Services Unit was contacted and responded to investigate the incident. The Alexandria Police Department, Alexandria Fire Department, Acadian Ambulance and the Louisiana State Police North District Detectives Division assisted in securing the area.
The Troopers with the Emergency Services Unit determined that there was no explosive device in the vehicle and the scene was cleared at approximately 1:00 p.m..
Mr. Cruse was arrested for Illegal Carrying of a Weapon for an item that was found on his person. The item was found on his person and was not related in any way to the bomb he claimed was in his vehicle. Information obtained during the investigation and with Cruse’s state of mind, he will be further evaluated by the Rapides Parish Coroners office. He was booked at the Rapides Parish Detention Center and additional charges may be filed later.
Look at this line from the article....
“A gas station and convenience store were evacuated while the sheriffs office bomb squad defused the device, and the three Dixie Softball tournament semifinals continued without interruption, sheriffs Lt. Robert Beauregard said.”
WOW thank God the Dixie softball SEMIFINALS were not interrupted! Like a jr. high news paper.

You ain’t jes whistling Dixie.
Jena is currently having a very bad racial problem between blacks and whites.
Who knows if this situation is related to that?
Seems the media foams at the mouth when a white male is arrested and in possession of a firearm though, even though the firearm was never used or pointed...just found in his possession when initially arrest ed on another charge...like they can't get the name, age, and address out of the accused quick enough.
