my late father was "in B-17s" from Dec 8, 1941 to the end of the war and a FANATIC supporter of the USAAF.
i told a couple of USAF officers (wearing the "horsehide flight jackets"), that i was sorry that he didn't live to see pilots wearing those jackets again!

I’m sitting in the airport now. My flight leaves at 11p, I get home about 2a and after a shower, straight to work. The Wednesday holiday means EVERYTHING must be done by 2p Tuesday. I worked Sunday to get as much of Monday’s work done as possible. Edits were done Monday at 2p instead of Tuesday at 2p. I have to get caught up. I’ll sleep sometime Tuesday night after I get pictures (I hope) downloaded and uploaded.
