A Tribute To 68-69TonkinYatchClub
"I VOW to the 58,000 + Brothers and Sisters on The Viet Nam Wall who never came home and to those who died at home from injuries and from broken hearts. I will do everything I LEGALLY can to expose Hanoi Kerry once and for all. I will not tire, I will not falter, and I will not fail. I solemnly vow to do all I can to restore your honor until I give my last breath on earth."
68-69TonkinGulfYachtClub
Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

On this late Sunday evening, I have to take a moment and pay tribute to friends - the present, the absent, and the departed.
Over the years, the Canteen has been a place of meeting for such as I: bored troops, people trying to connect with loved ones back home, good folks just wanting to make a difference.
YOU have made a difference. Brian led the charge by created and keeping this virtual home a decent place to be, but never forget a moment your own contributions.
Each of you have mattered to me, and the men under my charge both stateside and overseas. You reached out to my family and my company, and no mere words can express how much a part you all have been. But without Brian, we never would have.
You continue to be a star to steer by, even today.
Thank you. One and all.

You did great Tonk! Don’t worry about the honor of your brothers and sisters. It was never lost. Those that don’t hold you and them in the highest esteem are not worthy of your presence! We will carry on in your sted! Rest in peace! Enjoy the R & R!
God bless! We will always remember!

Depeends...Denali is PC. I can’t roll over in the name of political correctness to call it something other than what I grew upon, and called it for forty years.

Hey,
Old Sarge,
Lets just keep the place going.
We are all in this together.
P.S. Lets try to keep the FR Canteen going as well. It is also a worthy endeavor.
:)
