As Mark Twain might say, reports of the Immigration Bill's death have been highly exaggerated.
The bill might have been killed for the second time, but today's Wall Street Journal reports that at least three key parts of it may still have life (one of which, the Dream Act, I've previously written about). Yes, it's like Freddy Kruger. The bill never completely dies. These, too, must be killed:
It ain't over 'til it's over.

The Dream Act is part of Hillarys idea. Part of it allows illegals to become legal IF they can avoid legal authorities for 5 years.

SECURE THE BORDERS!!!
Just start with that and then we can even start to look at what to do about those already hear. Until the borders are secure I dont want to see one SCRAP of immigration legislation even LOOKED AT!

The AgJobs bill may be reasonable, and I say that as a strong immigration hawk. Don’t know about visas for people with special skills, but this is not the kind of immigrant we’ve been concerned about. The “Dream Act” — scholarships for illegals’ kids — is obnoxious, but it doesn’t have a big effect on the country and I’m guessing it cdan be stopped. We should stay alert, but let’s not minimize yesterday’s BIG win!!!
