The President today officially nominated Adm. Michael Mullen, to be Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Gen. James Cartwright to Joint Chiefs Vice Chairman.
The President then travelled to the Naval War College in Newport, RI and delievered a speech on Iraq and made a statement on the Senate immigration bill to the press.
The President then went to the family compound on Walker's Point in Kennebunkport, Maine for a long weekend. Later this weekend, his father, former President George H.W. Bush and the current President are scheduled to host Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Today the Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice met with South Korea's Foreign Minister Song Min-soon at the State Department.
Laura Bush and her daughter Jenna are in Zambia today .

So true, snugs. We've had a combination of luck and deterrence by the Bush/Cheney admin. to keep us safe so far.
I hope all of the attempts in the UK are foiled, just as I hope that all of the ones here are. We need to stick together - just as we have ever since the little matter of the Revolutionary War. :-)

I agree they are a class act. I’m almost done with Doro’s book “My Father, My President”. It reveals what a wonderful family they are and what a kind, compassionate man of integrity Pres. Bush 41 is. It’s no wonder his kids grew up to be the same.
Thinking about it now I have served chicken livers similar to your recipe but on whole slices of toast, must try it again.
I recently had some rabbit given me and I took the livers, kidneys and hearts out of them and added those to a stew I was doing and they tasted very similar to the chicken livers I have tasted before. Seeing some of them came from China I wonder if in fact they were rabbit and not chicken LOL.
I normally use butter icing (cream) though for the topping as I do not often have cream cheese in the house. I also the icing you use for the red velvet cake would be good for this cake.
