I think the reporter and the source are on a different page as to what “next Tuesday” refers to.

I’m not a language genius but wouldn’t June 26 be “this Tuesday” and “next Tuesday” be July 3?

Since Thompson’s people refuted this report I’m going to bet it will be July 3. It was reported a few days back that they didn’t want to announce on July 4 due to it being more important as our nation’s birthday and people would be doing things anyway.

July 3 would be perfect!

He may not officially announce he is running, but he is going to announce that Nashville will be the home of his national campaign headquarters, <--taken from the WSMV web site.

This is probably so we will know where he is going to officially announce he is running.
