"Solar scientists predict that, by 2020, the sun will be starting into its weakest Schwabe solar cycle of the past two centuries, likely leading to unusually cool conditions on Earth. Beginning to plan for adaptation to such a cool period, one which may continue well beyond one 11-year cycle, as did the Little Ice Age, should be a priority for governments. It is global cooling, not warming, that is the major climate threat to the world, especially Canada."

Did you bother to read ANY of it? Why would it need a “barf alert?”

Why do you want a barf-alert? Do you disagree with the author?

Discover Magazine, of all pubs, ran an inteview with a scientist looking at cosmic radiation as a cause of climate change. The impression I have is that many scientists, very quietly, agree that cosmic radiation may have a significant impact over the long term. Solar radiation, and increased solar output, also has a small but still measurable impact.
This scientist also pointed out that nearly all climate models do not adequately account for cloud cover, which has a heavy counter cyclic effect on warming.
He said he’s gotten a lot of direct threats for publishing this stuff, even though he has never had or accepted any kind of corporate funding.

A “barf alert” would not be justified. This is real science, based on real observations and real theory. Synopsis: Cooler sun = less solar wind = more cosmic rays reaching Earth = more clouds = cooler planet. Hotter sun = more solar wind = less cosmic rays reaching Earth = less cloude = hotter planet. Matches the 11 year sunspot cycle. We hit a “low” in this cycle around 2020 that’s aking to the low that set off the “Little Ice Age” — things are going to cool off a LOT!

You forgot the barf alert. Why? A barf alert for an article that points out that fluctuations in solar output make the biggest contributions to global climate change?

Ruh, roh. I can already hear the global warming jihadis grabbing their pitchforks to come get this guy.

We need to install giant cosmic venetian blinds in the upper atmosphere so that we can close them a bit when solar activity is too high and throw them wide open when solar activity is low. That way we can regulate global temperatures better and minimize global climate change.

using proxies from tree rings in Russia's Kola Peninsula to water levels of the Nile, show exactly the same thing: The sun appears to drive climate change.

Huge investments by scientists, governments and some individuals that we are facing global warming due to CO2.
Boy are THEY going to be pissed.
