We need to install giant cosmic venetian blinds in the upper atmosphere so that we can close them a bit when solar activity is too high and throw them wide open when solar activity is low. That way we can regulate global temperatures better and minimize global climate change.

I’ve been thinking that to save the glaciers, Cristo (sp?) should wrap them in bright white fabric to keep the sun from melting them. Figure that’s more useful than the usual artsy fartsy stuff he does, like wrapping islands in pink fabric....

I propose a thin biodegradable film spread over some tropical portions of the ocean, to either increase or decrease the albedo of the area covered.

I cannot imagine any significant governing body taking this on, though.
