There's nothing like creativity in advertising.
And this is NOTHING like creativity in advertising!

WHAT HEALTH-RELATED benefits? Aren’t condom usage STDs up 4 fold in the last stats?

Offensive on so many levels! Quite an achievement.
Sometimes I think these things are created so that networks can "take the high road" and refuse to air them, then thump themselves on the chest.

The Fox and CBS networks have both declined to air an ad for Trojan condoms that features cellphone-carrying pigs on the prowl. Why would Rosie O'Donnell need a condom?

So the message is men are pigs til they want sex and come prepared. Great. Just great.
And I must say I am proud of Fox (surprise but pleased with cbs), although condoms do NOT prevent herpes, HPV and not always the other bacterial stds either.
To promote “safe sex” is a lie. SafER maybe...but hardly safe.

There's some measure of reassurance in knowning that at least Fox and CBS have retained some sense of decorum.

CBS-Viacom thinks this is inappropriate?
This is the same media empire that airs MTV 24/7 and deliberately broadcast a mutilated nipple as the closed of the Superbowl Half Time Show.

They should just redo the commercial so when the pig gets a condom and transforms into a guy the woman gets a headache and has to leave.
To: jacknhoo
SeeBS will refuse this ad, yet air that show with Charlie Sheen with far worse content than the commercial in question...what a network! And Fox...oy vey! The crap they put on, and then refuse this ad...they’re worse than SeeBS.

I’ll bet my house that those networks would happily run back to back Valtrex or impotency ads. I can’t watch a darn thing without having to see one of those stupid (and, in the case of Valtrex, disgusting) commercials.

Incredible how low we’ve sunk as a society. At least CBS could have claimed it was truth-in-advertising.

How's this:
An ad depicts men in a bar surrounded by cellphone-toting piglets. One of the piglets heads off to the womens room where it obtains a condom from a vending machine
When she returns to the bar, the guy who had been trying to employ the "beer goggles" tactic to choose a suitable floozy from among the bevy of barhogs sucking on Marlboros and longnecks, now figures "what the hell, one or two more beers and she'll pass the 'minimum acceptable standards at closing time' test. Besides, she brought her own rubber."
Remember - Use a condom every time you hook up with a pig.
