IIRC, there was something about one of Nifong’s associates issuing some kind of threats to witnesses earier this week in this hearing. It was during a break or before court started. IIRC, the person issuing the threats was removed from the court room.

Seligmann’s testimony is over - personally I think he did very well. He clearly explained how he attempted to prove to Nifong his innocence. How his life and families life was impacted by Nifong’s actions.

Those 3 young men have shown more class and character throughout this ordeal than Nifong has.

Nifong was out to hang them regardless of the evidence. [Maybe Nifong will get hung instead — and not necessarily by the neck.]

True justice in this case requires the following three things to happen:

1) Nifong is disbarred
2) Crystal Gail Mangum needs to be sent to prison
3) Nifong also needs to serve some prison time

These will not happen. At best we'll get #1. #2 isn't going to happen and #3 is very unlikely.

Let me add a #4:

4) Nifong should pay the legal fees of the players from his own personal money until he his out, with the City of Durham picking up the rest of it. The voters in Durham are ultimately responsible for the actions of their elected representatives.

Like the first 3, this one won't happen.
