Sounds like the Democrat campaign platform....
Notice the $100 is given not earned.
Set up the same situation, but explain to these 19 bubbleheads that some good portion of the “taxes” they choose to “pay” will go to buying military planes, tanks, bombs, weapons, ammunition, grenades, mines, etc. and see how much they give then...
The University of Oregon is a community college that passes for a center of higher education. Employers who hire U of O grads do so at their own risk.
They are soooo right. Every April 15 my heart starts to pound with excitement. The thrill of shelling out my hard earned cash to a bunch of lip-smacking, greedy, politicians is overwhelming. My mind races with anticipation as I think about all those wonderful leftist non-profits my heafty funds supports and I could go on and on. Yes, I admit, I not only love paying taxes, I ADORE paying taxes!s/
Right. Make them work for the money and then threaten them with jail if they don't pay and then measure their brain waves.
Then show them how the money left over pays taxes for businesses on everthing they buy or use.
If you give somebody something, they do not value it or hold it in high regard.
Also notice the leftist blindspot where they’re unable to distinguish between voluntary charity giving and forced confiscation through taxation.
The surprising discovery, based on brain scans, can also predict which people are most likely to donate cash to charity.
Not surprisingly, the authors of the study confuse taxes with charity.
The same thing is going on with other “polls” saying that a majority of Americans love “The Amnesty Bill”!
Actually, mine does. My expenses are such that I typically get a nice bonus that time of year. Not huge, but I alsways get a couple hundred back.
The left secretly loves having other people pay taxes.
I had a conversation with an unemployed lefty who said paying taxes was good.
He also blamed Republicans for the high cost of gas. He didn’t seem to know that 72 cents of the price per gallon was taxes locally.
LOL! "Right", indeed! ;^)
I’m sitting here looking at two checks. One is written to the United States Treasury and the other to the Franchise Tax Board. Today is June 15th, the day that I get the “pleasure” of sending my money to Washington and Sacramento. I’m so excited. I’m so excited! I’m so excited! breathe.... breathe....
I purposely go to the courthouse every year to pay my property taxes in person so that the blood suckers have to look me in the eye as they bleed me dry! The only pleasure I get from it is watching them squirm when I use the opportunity to tell them how bad they are at managing my money!
Yup. That and they don't want to spend their declining years in Leavenworth!
Is it really that exciting when the government returns your own money to you interest-free?
I just reworked my estimated quarterly payments. These “scientists” are welcome to come on over here and scan my brain waves about now. I think I could blow up their brain scanner with pure rage.
