Careful use of a newspaper placed over their meal as they sit there totally crocked and/or passed out usually guarantees a great untouched meal for nothing or a cup of coffee at the most. Ive been eating diner at Dennys for 30 years now. ROTFL! So YOU're the one who took my meal! :0)

I feel stupid. I see I pinged everyone to this LAST SUMMER. LOL! DIdn’t look at the date. Just got hungry.

Looks pretty filling, but nothing like the “Kingburger” at the original Fatburger in L.A. (on La Cienega) — a double Kingburger (two 1/3 lb. patties) with cheese, chili, bacon, two fried eggs, grilled onions, etc. Probably tastes a lot better than the burger at Denny’s too.

That’s ok. I had already seen it and commented a couple times this go round. I only realized it was a resurrected thread when someone thanked me for the recipe for bread pudding.HUH? Most recent recipe I posted was for Chocolate Tofu Pie and I posted it on a thread about eating less meat. I posted the bread pudding recipe on this thread last summer! lol

Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, sautee it. ...Bubba! Loved that scene!
Here's more of the story, from Shrimp News International.

Why did some sadistic sucker resurrect this thread at the tail end of a month Ive been fasting through?Because there's just a small window of opportunity before Lent. Easter is in March this year.

That full house burger really looks good. I like Denny’s. We often eat there on Sundays when we can get breakfast at 1:30 p.m. Yumm...

there's just a small window of opportunity before Lent.I gave up Lent in 1972 and never picked up that particular vice again -- I am looking to forward to having a nice juicy steak or some pasta rustico on FRIDAY, 2/1/08!

I went to a Waffle House once, cold sober and in broad daylight. It felt wrong.
At least you realize the error of your ways. lol. Now next time go falling down drunk and the food tastes a thousand times better. Just have a cab waiting to take you home though...

You know what does NOT make me smile?
People who pronounce it “scrimp.”
That makes me want to start a hearty round of pimp-slapping.
