SRINAGAR, India --A group claiming to represent the al-Qaida terror network declared a holy war on India over its partial control of the divided Himalayan region of Kashmir, Indian officials said Saturday. A statement and video was sent Friday to the Current News Service, in Srinagar, the main city of India's Jammu-Kashmir state, in which a masked man standing next to an automatic weapon read the declaration.
"We declare righteous holy war against India on behalf of God the great in which Jammu and Kashmir will be the launch pad for holy war in India,"

Just think if there is a coup in Pakistan and al-Qaida & their Taliban cohorts seize control of Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal. Not a pleasant though for India not the world.

I travel to India nearly every year and rent a place out there, and in October 1997 was in Mumbai during th 50th anniversary.
I spoke to several older people who were displaced; they told me hideous things, pregnant women macheted, lynchings, people roasted alive over camp fires.
I couldnt sleep that night it seemed like they were talking about a different country.
Apparently the killers and victims were often former friends and neighbours.

Yeah except consider that during our operation against the Taliban (Al Queda) in Afghanistan the Taliban were sending delegates whom were meeting with PRC generals. Think of Al Queda as the tail of the dragon. It was the PRC who created the manual “Assymetrical Warfare” (released in 1998) where in one part, it specifically talks about how airliners could be used as commercial bombs against economic targets.

Essentually, the Tang Dynasty kept dominance over the Qarluq Khanate. Muslims would not dominate Transoxiana until the Karakhanid empire in the 11th century.
