Daylight exacerbates warning[Letter to the Editor]

You may have noticed that March of this year was particularly hot. As a matter of fact, I understand that it was the hottest March since the beginning of the last century. All of the trees were fully leafed out and legions of bugs and snakes were crawling around during a time in Arkansas when, on a normal year, we might see a snowflake or two. This should come as no surprise to any reasonable person.
As you know, Daylight Saving Time started almost a month early this year. You would think that members of Congress would have considered the warming effect that an extra hour of daylight would have on our climate. Or did they ? Perhaps this is another plot by a liberal Congress to make us believe that global warming is a real threat. Perhaps next time there should be serious studies performed before Congress passes laws with such far-reaching effects.

Awesome! Thanks for posting.
To: BGHater
The scary thing is, there are people dumb enough to take this seriously.

I really, really hope this person wrote the letter as a joke. People that stupid shouldn't be out in the public.

I suspect this was a spoof letter by a liberal posing as a "conservative idiot."
It was a favored technique of leftists in college newspapers when I was a kid.

I believe this is a ploy to make the man-made Global Warming deniers look dumb as dirt. Why else would they print this buffoonery?

I think I did see this before on FR. Still good for a giggle.
Does look like a “seminar” letter to the editor writer, though, doesn’t it?

The same people who believe man is the cause of global warming would probably also believe that DST adds an extra hour of daylight to the day. This is not surprising at all.

LOL! I remember a letter to the editor in the Miami News way back when from a woman worried that the extra hour of daylight was going to burn her grass. Now, I do believe that letter writer was serious but in this case I think the writer has tongue firmly in cheek.
