“Have you ever read the reasons why they attacked us?They attacked us because we’ve been over there,we’ve been bombing Iraq for 10 years.”
Yet tonight Paul said that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.

For such an irrelevant fringe candidate, people on this thread sure to enjoy talking about Ron Paul. I’ll tell you right now, while a disagree with him on foreign policy, I’d vote for him over Rudy or McCain. First of all, I think he at least has principles and stands by them come Hell or high water, which is more I can say for either of them. Secondly, I didn’t become a conservative because of the Iraq War, I became a conservative for a lot of other things that Ron is for and Rudy is against.

This issue is a bit more involved than welfare reform.
While Americans have resented and attacked immigrants in the past, I think fair minds can differentiate legal immigrants from illegal aliens.
The US should remain a "melting pot" of diverse cultures as we've always done in the past. There's no reason at all to accept an invasion of illegal immigrants who, by mere observation, have no intention of assimilating into American society.

We will see how it goes.
I am not impressed with any of the declared candidates.
The press conference tonight did not change my mind.
