Where's Fred Thompson? Is he going to mail his offering in by Youtube?
You've been very snide about the answers some of these guys are giving, but at least they have the guts to be in the thick of the battle.
We need to hear from Fred. We need to see how he holds up under the weather. One hopes he'll do better than he did in the Senate when things got contentious.

Ron Paul is a huge embarrassment. There is no way he should be in the debates. I’m sure the MSM just LOVES him in there.

RON PAUL right now in the debate tonight was just speaking about pre-emptive war, and pre-emptive nuclear strikes! A little bit earlier he said the war in Iraq was a war for oil. I thought you (lawdog) told me this morning that Paul would’ve declared war?
I honestly can’t tell the difference between Ron Paul and any other ‘anti-war’ activist out there today. He sure is comfortable using their rhetoric (I.E. This is a war for oil, this was a pre-emptive war — he made no mention about the whole declaration of war point, nor did he mention letters of marquee).
This is exactly why I left the LP... It’s great using the whole “at the end of a gun” rhetoric as long as the gun isn’t pointing at American citizens and soldiers. This was not a pre-emptive war, nor is it a war for oil. (For proof read JVeritas’ Iraq Docs blog).
OK, and now Ron Paul is advocating more tax dollars for education... Y’all have got to get your act together if you want to have a better chance of tricking people into voting for him...

Exactly, focus on the positive and what unites, not taking pot shots at each other or the president.. Wolf is basically asking them to complain about President Bush, that is not a vision of the future.. and too many aren’t smart enough to avoid the trap.
