Good morning, Pusterfuss...((HUGS))...has your weekend started? I took Thursday off....my personal time is maxed and I can’t earn any unless I take some time off. I’m thinking a couple Thursdays a month would be nice.
Well, I am now off until the day after Memorial Day. Of course my project for the week is to fill a dumpster, so not much fun lined up.
Oh boy....a “working” vacation. Be careful...don’t snash any fingers.
Thank you for doing your part to help keep all of us free and safe.

Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today’s activities.
WOW! Did you ever have an adventure yesterday. I admire your fortitude. But all-in-all it was probably much better than dealing with moose on the roadways. LOL
DC Metroland weather report ~ Today....Cloudy with occasional showers. Thunder possible. High 59F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60%. ~ Tonight....Showers early, then partly cloudy overnight. Low around 50F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%.
Well, I'm confused. I thought once that big storm had passed, we'd be having some nice, sunny days. But, looks like chance of rain for the next few days.
That means music, fun, and mayhem!
I think I'm going to take off a little early today. Which means I won't be here this afternoon. But, before that happens I need to see what's been happening in FR since I left yesterday.
I know we're not suppose to discuss politics at the Canteen, so I'll just say quickly that I am in a rotten mood cause I feel betrayed by my government....again. So, I won't be in a chatty mood this morning. Please forgive me in advance.
Time for me to make my rounds. But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock!

Today's FEEBLE
YOKE:
A famous magazine photographer was dispatched to a famous haunted house to get shots of the apparition residing there.
In the haunted house, when the clock struck 12 midnight, the apparition appeared on the staircase landing.
Amazingly, the apparition posed (like a supermodel) for the photographer! But lighting was very bad at the moment and the camera flash batteries were LOW. Anyway, the photographer snapped away. But the pictures did not come out well because of the low batteries.
He later explained to his boss at the magazine this way: 'The spirit was willing, but the flash was weak.'

The parade starts at cameroin University. Goes down Gore Blvd to 11th St. Then, South to C Ave. All the way to Central Mall.
Parade begins at 5:30 PM and runs to 7:30 PM. 152 total entries for this year's parade.
Not much else going except it's in the 50's this morning and the sun's out.
