Oh, man, this is just peachy— I better pray I don’t have a severe injury, because the emergency rooms will be filled with the “undocumented”s kiddies with the sniffles— or worse, some exotic disease that had been beaten years ago outside the third world.

Face it: the cheap labor GOP wants their slaves, and they want US to pay the bill for the cost of their living here. Bullcrap!

Multiple sources on Capitol Hill with knowledge of the proposal said Sen. Teddy Kennedy (D.-Mass.) has been able to extract significant concessions from Republicans

Says it all, doesn't it?

Something’s wrong...

Senator McCain promised “this isn’t amnesty, its a path to citizenship” - surely Senator McCain wouldn’t fib...

Amnesty will give us 200 million more third worlders in the next 20 to 30 years. Half the population will be uneducated, speak little english, live in slums, etc. What a great country we are building.

I work my butt off to pay 28% of my money so that yellow-bellied liars and traitors can give my hard-earned tax money to lawbreakers and scoflaws, who have been earning money TAX-FREE in the US.

There are 2 types of people in this country: Those who work hard, obey the law and contribute to society. Then, there are politicians and illegal aliens.

I predict that the response to this proposed legislation will have an effect similar to the issue of slavery in 1860: A political party will die, and another one will rise, and there may even be civil war.

Pretty un-fcking-believable. The masses have been CLAMORING for a closure of the borders. But we've been ignored.

We simply want our laws enforced.

I truly cannot believe that I find myself living in a country where the average citizens are simply begging for someone to enforce laws that are in place.

In my opinion, looking the other way on illegal immigration sets a precedence that to me, allows the average person to piss on the law. I'm certainly tempted to, at this point.

The end of our once great republic may be near. This ‘deal’ (enema to the taxpayers) is not going to stop illegal immigration. More and more will continue to pour across our unprotected borders. This is nothing more than pandering to the now largest minority group of voters. It’s all about the bastards in Washington trying to stay in power.

What exactly is this supposed to protect again? Would it stop more border crossings? Would it get rid of the criminals or other undesirables? What is their rationalization for giving so much away? For what?

I think we’ve lost our mind. The only thing that makes sense is if Republicans are rushing into this so that the Hillary/Obama presidency won’t get the “credit” from 20 million new citizens.

It would also allow illegal aliens to bring their parents, spouses and children the rest of Mexico into the United States.

And some people wonder why the republican party is so f**ked up!

Might as well bury it!

If this comes to pass what we will get is 20+ million new citizens and no enforcement. Then the next batch will start a new line.

As MM points out:

There have been seven illegal alien amnesties passed into law since 1986:

·The 1986 Immigration and Reform Control Act blanket amnesty for an estimated 2.7 million illegal aliens

·1994: The “Section 245(i)” temporary rolling amnesty for 578,000 illegal aliens

·1997: Extension of the Section 245(i) amnesty

·1997: The Nicaraguan Adjustment and Central American Relief Act for nearly one million illegal aliens from Central America

·1998: The Haitian Refugee Immigration Fairness Act amnesty for 125,000 illegal aliens from Haiti

·2000: Extension of amnesty for some 400,000 illegal aliens who claimed eligibility under the 1986 act

·2000: The Legal Immigration Family Equity Act, which included a restoration of the rolling Section 245(i) amnesty for 900,000 illegal aliens]

Guess what? None –not one—of those amnesties was associated with a decline in illegal immigration. On the contrary, the number of illegal aliens in the U.S. has tripled since President Reagan signed the first amnesty in 1986. The total effect of the amnesties was even larger because relatives later joined amnesty recipients, and this number was multiplied by an unknown number of children born to amnesty recipients who then acquired automatic US citizenship.

And as I’ve noted before, there is no such thing as a “temporary” amnesty.

Even though I’ve had a full year to mentally adapt to the insane reality that there are plenty of Republicans ready to join Ted Kennedy and make a headlong dive into turning this country into a balkanized, socialist cesspool, I’m still dumbfounded by it. It’s the straight-forward, law-and-order aspect that always led me to be a Republican, and now I see so many of them acting just like Democrats, shiftily playing with words and ultimately both excusing and rewarding criminality, all for the sake of this grotesque amnesty outrage.

I’m so beyond being simply disenchanted. If this passes, everything pretty much becomes moot. Will I really even care anymore if the country falls into recession, has riots in the streets, or is attacked by terrorists? Will I even care to vote anymore? It all just seems so pointless, once these traitorous politicians have sold the country down the river. Words cannot remotely express my disgust. I’ve really reached a point I’ve never been at, in terms of both politics and how I view what’s left of my country.

We would be way ahead if the next terrorist attack managed to take out all US senators. Hopefully the House and the recently elected Blue Dog Democrats can stop this abortion of a bill. They won their seats on this issue. I hope they can be relied upon to support building of the complete fence and stand firm against amnesty of any kind.
