One section of the proposal grants these “Z” non-immigrants four-year visas for an indefinite period of time. These visas would be given to people not currently in the United States if they are related to a current illegal worker.

Might as well give everyone in Mexico a visa and an absentee ballot and be done with it!!!

I’ve just e-mailed both of my senators (one conservative, one liberal) again and urged them to vote no on this contemptible bill.

Partial Amnesty (or whatever you want to smoke screen this) is synonymous with Partial Birth Abortion...

Both are abhorant, and reaking of irresponsible, political/legislative attempts at social engineering...

However many times I have to say it...

You cannot legislate human or social behavior...

You can though enforce laws already on the books, and surprisingly, you can fund those enforcement efforts...It requires nothing new, but a concerted effort for the government to get off its duff and just do it...

But expecting that effort is unrealistic, or downright silly...

This is why the Farmers Branch, Texas is going to need addressing upstream here very soon...

The more the Feds ignore this local state effort...The more the legal public is going to show up (or not) at the polls next year and speak volumes with the tap of a screen...

Any one of the current GOP Presidential candidates who come out right now and proclaim that once in office, they will immediately try to do everything in their power to overturn this bill, will win the election in a landslide, IMHO.

The only way I can see to get the attention of ALL the politicians is to stop paying taxes.

U.S. citizens should withold some or all of their tax payments to the federal government. If 20 million citizens refused to pay their taxes it would get the attention of our representatives faster even than rioting in the streets. The logic is inescapable that citizens have more right to scoff at U.S. laws than non-citizens.

We would be keeping more of our own money to improve the economic well-being of our families.

The only harm would be to shift the burden to those suckers that continue to pay their taxes.

There would be too many of us to prosecute.

We could threaten to not vote for any political party that threatened to prosecute us.

We could demand amnesty every few years.

We could threaten not to pay our State and local taxes if local authorities cooperate with the federal government.

Given the history of this issue, this honestly seems to be the only way to get our elected representatives to pay attention to us.

I admit that it’s easier for privately owned business people to not pay taxes. Also, people with a majority of 1099 income could just refuse to file returns. But there may be things that w-2 employees could do as well, like increase the number of exemptions or claim higher charitable contributions.

A conservative estimate is that these people have 2 kids back home, a wife, and 2 parents each. That’s seven people back home plus the illegal already here—times that by about 20 to 25 million and that’s the number of new Americans coming.

This is not amnesty, it is a plea agreement to let 12+ million illegal felons off the hook!

Even an American who commits a felony here in the US, cannot carry a firearm for life, but the illegal felons will be able to after this plea agreement!

It's amnesty. They must think the American people fell off a turnip truck yesterday. Illegals don't even need to meet minimum standards to get a "Z" Visa. What a joke!

Geez, I don't even really care about immigration as an issue, but there's something called the rule of law that's traditionally been important to conservatives that seems to be totally ignored here. If this is true, Bush is going to do a great job pissing off a large number of conservatives who up to this point haven't even been really conerned about the issue of immigration.

I guess I’ll write and call my rep’s again.....feelin like it’s worthless though.

I’ve called and wrote many times on various issues, it almost always turns out the way the globalist direct policy.

This is NOT a government for and by the people!!!

Our government is run by MONEY. Lust for power.

It’s sickening. Where have all the statesmen gone?

Is there no loyalty to America? Is it all about global trade? Has our nation finally tilted toward socialism?

NO....YES.....YES
