Our planet is just five years away from climate change catastrophe - but can still be saved, according to a new report.
The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) warns governments have until 2012 to "plant the seeds of change" and make positive moves to limit carbon emissions.

Unless you buy Al Gore's 'Carbon Credits'.
Somebody wake Al Goron.
Alarmism combined with weasel words.
Change always happens — so no matter what the world looks like in 2012, the WWF will be able to claim success.
What the %^$#%& is the “Worldwide Fund for Nature” and why
should we listen to it/them?
I am old enough to remember when “Global Cooling” was the fear of the wacko scientists...and that was in the early and mid 70s.
Most people think the world began when they were born. I believe that is in part the failure of the schools to actually teach a little history.
Jeez, I’d better put that in my Palm Pilot. Set an alarm too.
This was the coldest April in a hundred years, I believe, and May has been cold, too. Here in Vermont since May 1 all but a few nights have been below freezing. Several times it got down into the teens.
Of course, if you mention global warming to a true believer, you will be told that climate change is complicated and that this recent cold streak just goes to prove that it’s true.
WWF is the initials for World Wildlife Fund. Either World Wide Fund for Nature is a part of World Wildlife Fund or someone made a mistake.
World Wildlife Fund fought an expensive legal battle with World Wrestling Federation for the right to use WWF and won.
Sooooo...it’s fake and phony too?
ha!
I’m glad you all can see that the only real solution is the one I now propose. We blow up the sun.
Hmmm, End Of The World shopping list......
1. 6-pack of D-cells
2. extra 12-pack Charmin
3. butter
4. doz. eggs
5. cake mix
6.
Let's get specific. The date is 12/21/2012. The Mayan's, the Hopi's and many other cults are predicting this will be the last day. There is no reason why the Cult of Gore should not also join the band.
Man I sure am looking forward to this. Five yrs is just around the corner.
I thought the ecotards always stuck with ten years as the magic number, to make sure people didn’t remember the doomsday prediction ten years later. This is odd.
Exactly, who’s keeping track of all these numerous countdowns!
Where is the one from 2002 saying in five years...blah, blah...death, bees dying....
Or the one from 1997...climate change in 10 years....blah, blah, +1.2 degrees...blah...
Pull those “experts” out and ask them what happened? I want to know: Why are we still here???
