Yes, they do suck, But I am very proud of our crowd. Listen to the level of this discussion. (I’m on the replay).

Now think back to the Bush Kerry or Bush Gore debates,

Not even in the same ballpark! These guys Rock!

Think of Gore or Kerry droning on and on saying nothing, and Bush stumling embarrasingly at times.

Hunter, Tancredo, even Huckabee! Who would have thought Huckabee would be so good?

Personally, I like Duncan Hunter’s views. Too bad he seems to be a long shot at this point.

Says who? MSM and MSM polls?

I don't allow anyone to dictate to me who or who may not be a long shot. Politics is all slanted, and rigged.

Vote for who you like, don't be swayed.

“I do think Paul was right about making the ‘war on terror’ into one that can end”

Unless Ron Paul is suggesting we breed all the Jihad DNA out of the Islamics or burn all their Korans...

There is no way the WOT can magically morph into a garden tea-party...

One lump or two?

Ok so you claim I’m wrong...but then do abolsutely nothing to show where Falwell had a greater influence on the Conservative Movement than Rush.

Rush’s show and his books and the Limbaugh Letter are the modern equivalent of the writings and publications of Bill Buckley.

Rush was the glue that kept Conservatives together when Reagan left office...just as he does now.

Reagan’s conservaitve roots and beliefs go back farther than the Johnnie Come Lately’s you mentioned.

It goes back to the 50’s on his speaking tours on behalf of GE and his association and friendship with Barry Goldwater.

Ed Meese, Jim Baker, Don Regan and Mike Deaver helped put Reagan into the Oval Office. They helped him serve two terms as California Govenor as well...that was the iner circle of Reagan Conservatism...not Jerry Falwell and the ones that you mentioned.

Really, according to this, Ron Paul is the manifest Republican.

Thanks. People have short memories of Fred Thompson. His second term ruined him.

Hillary has the media on her side.

Our candidate won’t have that advantage of having their remarks and pictures edited and airbrushed.

If Mom says that about a candidate, that simply means that the average woman will not find the candidate appealing, and will not vote for him.

If we don’t get an even cut of Independent voters, we can’t win.

"Ron Paul would do that."

Not based on what I saw tonight. If Ron Paul were President, and the US was again attacked by Islamo terrorists, here's what Pres. Paul would do, based on his performance tonight:

1. Give a speech listing a litany of assorted things the US has done in the Middle East over the past 75 years, and trying desperately to show that somehow the attack was "our fault" or that in some sense we deserved it.

2. Demand that Congress give him a full "declaration of war" in full righteous libertarian mode. Not an authorization for use of military force, a formal Declaration.

3. Congress, dominated by spineless dregs of humanity, would pass, at best, a very weak authorization of military force, with even more monkey-wrenching restrictions than the war funding bill that Pres. Bush just vetoed.

4. Pres. Paul, not having a Declaration of War which is acceptable to the libertarian hardcore fringe, then proceeds to sit on his hands and do nothing whatsoever to respond to the attack. Because to do so would go against his rigid and personally idiosyncratic interpretation of the Constitution.

It's never going to happen. He'll never get above 2%.

And if your mother says that about someone, that means he probably can’t win.

I liked Dole’s edgy humor, but I was in the minority.

And those who would cut taxes, balance budgets, and address our immigration problems, apparently.

Well done.

Was it a mistake to fight Germany to save the USSR? I think so. Nazism could only ever appeal to a small group of people, Germans.

Holy smokes! Where do you get your history? Cracker Jacks boxes? lolololololol

Hunter really was the only one that came down and said ‘do what it takes’ to get the info to save Americans.

Romney’s ‘no torture, but enhanced’ stuff doesn’t impress me.

I have no doubt that Tancredo would also have no problems using any methods to secure the USA.
