Republican Presidential Candidate Debate #2 Columbia, South Carolina 05/15/07 - Official Discussion Thread
Watch live coverage of the First-in-the-South Republican Party Presidential Candidate debate on FOX News Channel and FOXNews.com on Tuesday, May 15, at 9 p.m. EDT (6 p.m. PDT).
Excellent answer from Romney. Tommy Thompson is an idiot.
Mitt is right on target about the Mooselimbs.
I’m already sick of these idiots...why can’t just ONE of them say...
“We’re not leaving until we’re done...”
Next question...
Hate to admit it, but good opening by Romney.
Exactly!
This is the only thing I've found on bloggers for this debate. They were everywhere last time.

-- Tonight is the South Carolina GOP Presidential Primary Debate on Fox News. Ill be hosting a little debate party in my hotel room and listening in on a post-debate conference call with Duncan Hunter afterwards.
Things to look for tonight:
1. Will the Big 3 be challenged on what they intend to do about illegal immigration?
2. Will each of the other seven be given as much individual time as the Big 3?
3. Can Rudy Giuliani actually give a straight answer about his stance on abortion?
4. How are Republican/conservative bloggers going to beat up on Ron Paul, a man whos a REAL fiscal and social conservative, after the debate?
5. Will any of the post debate analysis give any real thought to candidates not named Romney, McCain, or Giuliani?
-- Speaking of Giuliani, apparently he has reaffirmed his stance on abortion. Rudy Giulianis record in dealing with illegal aliens in his own city is poor. He cant give a straight answer regarding his true stance on partial-birth abortion and taxpayer funded abortions, and though I dont know for sure, hes likely pro-CAFTA and pro-free trade with China. That would be three strikes against him in my book, meaning he will NOT get my vote.[snip]
I'm for exposing each and every position of the candidates to distinguish them from each other on the various issues. I'm hoping to hear the same from Fred should he choose to run. (But if Rudy implodes, it would be a good thing!)
Great answer from Romney on Iraq!
He is doing great.
he looks more "clam", than calm!
I’m going to go bravely out front and tell everyone I’m a Romney bot...he’s good and real to me, that’s what counts!
Amen brother.
If Romney doesn’t win the nomination...IMHO...he’d make an excellent SecState
He “get’s it” when it comes to how what happens over there has a domino effect on the rest of the region.
Mitt is the John Kerry of the Republican party
Why Does Brownback remind me of Al Gore? Weird...
Amen. Brownback answer is not realistic but not as bad as Tommy Thompson.
Mitt is the John Kerry of the Republican party
What Mitt said is what President Bush and republicans need to be driving down the throats of americans. The Caliphate! We leave Iraq, and people will get a true understanding of what a civil war is.
