I didn't try to start anything. We are attempting to set the record straight. I suggest you post your comment to EV, who did start it, and stop picking on the person YOU don't agree with.

I don't know either of you well enough to state that I agree or disagree with either of you, was NOT my point.

I told you that I was on this thread to LEARN what took place at THIS particular debate. I have yet to read one of your posts that was on topic of tonight's debate. Nothing more or less!!!!!

“I truly don’t think that he’s wanting to take anyone’s guns away from them, but while the issue is mostly an afterthought for most voters, it seems to be “the issue” for some of the people in the core conservative base.”

Yea, Its a big isuue for gun owners but what the hell, there is only 70 million of them, all of voting age.

HOLY CRAP! EARLY RETURNS SHOW RON PAUL WINS FOX NEWS TEST!

His people are determined to promote him and his ideas. They won't win the nomination, so their consolation is disrupting the polls.

It really doesn’t affect anything.
Only the left wing loonies will vote for Paul, so simply eliminate him from the results and you have the winners.
Looks like it is between Rudy and Romney, which is surprising in and of itself.
I voted twice myself - One for Tancredo and One for Hunter.

No, that isn’t correct. There have been five properly declared wars in US history. The War of 1812, the Mexican-American War, the Spanish American War, WWI and WWII. If COngress wants to authorize a war it has to actually declare, not delegate its war powers to the President with some limp wristed “authority.”

al-Qaeda declared war on us. And instead of kidnapping and killing American citizens in Tripoli...this time the Arab Terrorists attacked us on OUR soil.

And just as Jefferson did over 200 years ago...we are making sure the terrorists are “properly handeled”

But if you follow Pauls line of thinking we shouldn’t have been involved in any of them.

I mean after all we ahve to take care of the national interest before we go playing in world politics right?

I mean if Ron Paul were serving in Congress in 1941...he’d say we brought Pearl Harbor on ourselves because of our foreign policy.

He’d argue that we didn’t need to be involved in a prolonged war with Germany when it was Japan that attacked us.

Same stupid lineof thinking...different decade.

I hear ya! I’ve asked for a definition before and never seem to get an answer. I’m also wondering which of the 10 declared candidates the poster thinks fit the category.

Tancredo might , but , whats his odds of beating Klinton? See my point ?

It's not Hillary Clinton Tancredo needs to defeat. It's the spineless hucksters running the GOP machinery for the ill of this country he'd need to defeat first. If you think Clinton is immovable, they're the Rock of Gibraltar.

In 2002, the Boston Globe reported Romney’s positions from his1994 campaign as follows: “ABORTION: Favored basic Roe v. Wade abortion rights, though would not endorse a specific version of the Freedom of Choice Act, which would codify those court-established rights as federal law . . . Said he would leave the matter of Medicaid funding for abortion to individual states . . . Endorsed legalization of RU-486, the abortion-inducing drug.”

The Fox call-in poll shows Paul on top. Do you think Demos flooded the results? I was horrified at Paul’s performance, having understood that he “won” the first debate, which I did not see.

I think some Democrats could be spamming the polls. I also think that many of Ron Paul's people are determined to have their moment in the sun. He's put himself out of the running for the nomination. These kinds of call-in polls are their only chance to say that they won something.

That certainly excludes those of us who don’t have text messaging (though I would have selected Paul if I could have).

I tried to text a vote for Paul but my cell service provider isn't linked up to it :>{
