I’ve narrowed down MY choices after tonite! At least THIS debate wasn’t a total dog & pony show! Ok, there was some of that, but not even CLOSE to what Chrissi Matthews did!

I actually will say that while what he said was politically savvy, I also think it was genuine. Giuliani may be a liberal, but he's also a patriot. I am actually glad he was the one to call Paul out, since Rudy has the strongest connection to 9-11.

This is no endorsement, of course, but I believe in giving credit where credit is due.

That’s his only need. America will elect a man they trust, who’s strong, but whom they could see themselves at a BBQ with, you know?

I agree. If Duncan Hunter could show himself to be a regular guy, he'd help himself tremendously.

“I dislike Rudy enough to vote third-party if he is nominated, but I agree that he had a good debate. Mike Huckabee won, but Rudy did very well for himself.”

So you’d throw your vote away just to make a point? I thought we were the party of common sense.”

Other than defense, there’s no point in voting for Rudy. I’d probably go to a third party as well.

Well, Ron Paul will likely get re-elected in his district yet again, but he’ll NEVER be elected POTUS.

Honestly, with the exception of Ron Paul, I was proud of each and every one of those guys.

LOL! Probably right... Soros is behind this... Looks like he is covertly digging for gold in this picture... That finger is a little too close to the nose. LOL!

An interesting point.

Julianni is running on the war with islam alone.
All the other candidates are onboard except Paul.
If this is Rootys only differentiating point, how does this put him above the other candidates?

Rooty is toast

Although I like Newt, I don’t believe he would add much to a nation-wide ticket.

Has the Globe got the below wrong?

Romney's stem cell view may upset the right
Use of excess embryos at issue
By Scott Helman, Globe Staff | February 11, 2007

In the heated debate among conservatives over whether Mitt Romney deserves their vote, the focus has been largely on whether his big swings to the right on social issues are sincere.

But on the charged issue of stem cell research, he's facing conservative criticism of a different shade: that he hasn't swung far enough.

Unlike many on the right, Romney supports research on excess embryos created during fertility treatments. Because couples are making embryos to have a baby, he reasons, it is ethical to use the leftovers for research when they would otherwise just be discarded.

Romney's position, however, is at odds with the views of many conservative anti abortion activists, who believe that any work on stem cells derived from human embryos is wrong, because it destroys the embryos in the process. Some say Romney's views make him unacceptable to many voters and will complicate his attempt to win the 2008 GOP nomination by appealing to the party's conservative flank.

I’m all for ending Islamic immigration .
I doubt any of them has the b*lls to propose that as law though . Tancredo might , but , whats his odds of beating Klinton? See my point ? We may have to swallow a few issues in 08 in order to keep the Dems out. I’m serious , if Klinton gets in, this country is done for . The Great American Socialism Experiment will be well under way and radical Islam will have it’s way with us.

Need anymore history?

A Congressional Authorization for War is a Declaration of War. There is no ROberts Book of Rules for declaring war laid out in the Constitution. A short statement by Congress saying "kick their ass" is also a declaration of war. Ron Paul is a nut in the Cindy Sheehan mode. Al Qaeda predates Iraq. Islamonuts have been killing Americans for 30 years. The Ron Paul's of the world prefer the bedcovers over their head because reality bites. In our case the bites have been dead Americans. He's a fool and I vote to throw his asorry ass off the island. How you and the other .4% vote is up to you.

Iran and Syria should be impressed upon that if we’re attacked by terrorists who have their support that there we will raze their countries to the ground, not just show up and conduct a peace keeping operation so that our troops can get picked off by nutters with bombs strapped to their chests.

if you have a candidate who does NOT value the life of the unborn, they will not value the lives of their countrymen OR the lives of their troops!

Too bad this litmus test didn't work for Bush. We must not be played by the shucksters and hucksters who fob off RINOs on us as religious icons this election.

Ron Paul is finished after his gaff tonight, Regardless of DU nutters who are skewing the poll.

Ron Paul will lose credibility if he doesn't disavow the ridiculous "text message" poll. They did the same thing to American Idol with Sanjaya.

Howard must be laughing his @ss off.
