Did we declare when we attacked the Baraby States?
Does this mean Thomas Jefferson is against the Constitution?

"Really...if you'd like to explain, I'd be glad to "listen". If not, that's okay too." When you "post a reply", there are several other blue buttons to the right of that option. In the middle, there is one that says "to (with a post number)". If you click on that one, you will see the referenced post. AKA... a ping. (AKA = Also Known As).

As for me and my house we wont vote for anyone supporting abortion under any scenario.
We fear only God.
No one else controls our destiny.

The Pasha of Tripoli declared war on the U.S., and Jefferson didn’t wait for Congress to respond. All he did was informed Congress of what he did in response. Congress never officially declared war against Tripoli or any of the Barbary Pirates.

He wins because he lies about what his political beliefs are...he’s a Liberaltarian claiming to be a Republican...and the Republicans in that area hold their nose and vote for him as opposed to allowing a Socialist Democrat to take the Congressional seat.
The do NOT vote for him because of his staunch Conservative beliefs.

Last time in the primary, Dr. Paul defeated an ex-wife of, I believe, Frank Sinatra, Jr., or some such celebrity. No Democrat challenged him. I am sure he will have serious primary opposition now in 2008. He took the stand on Iraq like Ford did with eastern Europe in 1976 — did not explain himself well enough.

LOL—another thing I’ve noticed about them: they can only answer a challenge with a bumper sticker platitude.

Yeah, I think Duncan Hunter really established himself as one of the strongest national defense candidates. I dont think anyone can question that he would be quite capable of protecting the United States in a crisis. Agree.
The man really gets my attention. He doesn't appear to be a run of the mill DC politician. And that's probably what this country really needs about now.
Two incidents that also got my attention were the anti gun comment form Romeny, and the NY guy dodging the hard questions.

“Agreed. I believe Fred will join, and I will likely vote for him in the primaries.”
HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU WILL VOTE FOR HIM?
Where does he stand on the issues that are important to you?
Do you know? Because, I certainly do not.

I hear they are hiring. Or do you already work for them?

That’s a disingenuous response, Ron Paul was the least liberal candidate up there. Look at the track record of the “big three” and they’re all in favor of some kind of unconstitutional legislation like campaign finance, etc...

Be well.

Apparently, Ron Paul’s supporters enjoy making it look like nutty “Congressman” has more support than he really does. They are the “adult” version of the tween girls who spend all their time voting for Sanjaya on American Idol.
(P.S. Which district voted for this guy and don’t they want a real Congressman?)
To: DarthVader
The DUers have flooded the polls....for Ron Paul.
Yup, my first thought as well...
