A commentator said that Duncan Hunter has a strong background, knows what he’s talking about, and has a good record, and he DOES!

Ron Gaul doesn’t know squat. He is a pacifist in the mould of Jimmy Carter and electing him would bring our enemies to the gate. Stop dropping acid and learn to think.

Ron Paul isn’t suggesting that we apologize for anything we’ve done or even that we stop installing dictators with the CIA when it suits our purpose. Ron Paul’s point is that we should consider the ramifications of what we do instead of blustering about like a bull in a china shop.

The Shah remark was a good point.

That's a good point to make in a half-hour speech. But in a country that doesn't know anything about Prime Minister Mossadegh and the installation of the Shah and his police-state apparatus which led directly to the Ayatollah under Carter, it was an elementary debate error.

Some things you don't try to debate in thirty seconds. Especially if they're wonkish topics.

"I like RUDY and think he won tonight."

“Many of us Conservs are thinking RUDY is the best choice”

a joke, right?? you would support a pro-choice, gay activist to run our country? someone who is trying to run a presidential race on claiming he FIXED NY after 9-11? trying run off the 'glory'? he didn't fix it..he should invite everyone who helped bring NY back after 9-11 into the oval office with him!

"Nooooooooooooo Many of us and 99.999% of us are NOT thinking Rudy is the best choice..."

count me in on the 99.999%. NEVER for Rudy! A homosexual in favor of abortion...what a GREAT role model for our children (sarcasm), if he doesn't kill them off first.

please redefine yourself, JFC, as you seriously cannot consider yourself conservative.

Nothing but a condescending remark, typical of a liberal.

Your post was SO respectful. (sarc)

America needs to decide what kind of world it wants to live in. We can’t keep going on like this, blind to the deeper implications of our actions and sustaining ourselves off of pathetic one liners from burned out old politicians.

Unfortunately we can't turn back the clock and go live in 1920's America, isolationist and wary of anything foreign.

It's not America that needs to decide anything. Like it or not, we are in a global community and there are quite a few people who need to get it together for themselves and their countrymen.

If you have no economy, no hope for your young, an unstable political environment... you can strive to do better and join this world community.

Or else you can blame the Jews and the US of A... that theory and $2 will buy you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

The only thing defaming dead Americans is the mindless adherence to a politically correct foreign policy that defies the Constitution. How many Americans died in the past so that we could squander our country like this? Remember history, we were supposed to avoid entangling alliances!

From what I'm seeing, "9/11 changed everything", including that. Whatever it is we're supposed to be "conserving" as conservatives, that's not it. Not anymore. Whether we gave it up willingly or they took it, it's apparently gone.

I like RUDY and think he won tonight.

I dislike Rudy enough to vote third-party if he is nominated, but I agree that he had a good debate. Mike Huckabee won, but Rudy did very well for himself.

I wish Hunter or Tancredo had mentioned the Camp Robinson illegals. It would have really brought up the issue and put Huckabee on the spot.

Not all that bad Pennsylvania. I was born and raised there. Am the only Conservative in my family (2 brothers, 4 sisters, plus parents). Moved to Texas 30 years ago.
