You can cut the patriotism with a knife.Good morning, MoochPooch. I know what you mean. While reading some of it, I was feeling like such a slacker compared to some of those people. They were awesome!

They in turn would alert other volunteers to come to the depot by calling and saying I have the coffee on. Kathy, you're not from Nebraska, are you?
LOL. I think you're right, jinxie. BTW, good morning.

My dad, who became an english professor, wrote a book about him, and finished it before he died. My brother, who among other things is a writer. He is currently editing the manuscript.Awesome. Maybe you can give a heads-up when it comes out.

Well, I have a busy day ahead. For one thing, I have some lawnmowing to do.
BTW, it turns out we did the right thing when we switched from Cable to DTV. I just recently found out that the cable service is being discontuined in a couple of months.
The local telephone company ran our cable system for a couple of years. They took it from another company a couple of years ago. Later that year, they started a DTV service.
Some of our Oklahoma freepers may recognize this telephone company if I told you what it is. They service 75 Oklahoma Communities.
In any event they're discontuining our community's cable TV service in July because of the high cost of running a cable TV service and because there are so few cable TV customers in our town.
So for now, it's DTV or the dish.
