I'm trying to figure out where this stereotype comes from. It certainly doesn't come from the popular culture. I think the conclusion the writer's trying to avoid is that the consensus standard for male looks is the Caucasian man, whereas the consensus standard for female looks is the Oriental woman. Men of all races prefer Oriental women because they find them good-looking. Conversely, women of all races like Oriental men the least because they find them unattractive. Black women are equally unpopular because men of all races find them unattractive.

Note this is a generalization. Some white men marry black women. And some Oriental men marry Oriental women. But on average, Oriental men will have more trouble landing Oriental women, and black women will have more difficulty landing white men. And this is probably reflected in the marriage statistics.

Most American women who have gone to college, and who are presumably intelligent, have been exposed to radical-militant-man-hating courses designed to make them mistrust men. American women have infinite power over men, since they have preference in hiring, and can accuse any man any time of anything, and be believed.

American men are hired last and fired first. They have been castrated and are not realizing their full earning potential.

My White immigrant neighbor from New Zealand is presently in China trying to marry (and bring to the US) a Chinese woman he met on the internet. He's a rich guy and he said that American women were only interested in themselves and his money.

As a three time (divorced) loser, that's been my experience too. Never get between an American woman and your money.

Luckily for Indian men working in America, they will have absolutely no problem getting an arranged marriage in India.

Guy I work with is a 37-y.o. Indian American (his folks were immigrants). His parents got him into an arranged marriage with a girl in India he had never met in person. Arranged marriages are the norm in India.

The problem with Asian, at least Vietnamese, men is definitely cultural. The ones born in VN are imbued with a tradition that it is a man's right and duty to discipline his wife. Even second generation men seem to have the same proclivities among the communities with which I am familiar. Families prefer that daughters marry other Vietnamese and many do. Among the nonCatholics most seem to end in fairly early divorce. The Catholics stick it out longer and most do not divorce though some separate. 2nd generation wives raise their children with a strong desire to marry non -Asian men. Young men now often go to VN to find a wife. Widowers and divorcved men also tend to head back to VN for second wives. Remarriage is apparently almost impossible for VN heritage men on this side of the Pacific.

I see a lot of girls who only date black men. Maybe it is just who I run with, but I rarely see the opposite. Being in college town in Oklahoma probably has a lot to do with it.

Generally speaking I prefer dark hair, but that is about as far as my preferences go, and I'm not locked into that one. I don't have enough luck to be picky.

OK, don’t think I’m weird to ask. I am a white guy raised in the south. Recently I found out a Midwestern girl I liked a lot had dated black men in her distant past. It really turned me off. How would those here feel? I really like her, but I feel like I hit a wall when I found this out. Should I reconsider? Not trying to start anything, just genuinely struggling with deep-rooted feelings. Sincere advice would be appreciated.

Indian women are gorgeous and prove excellent wives, but most of them interpret dating as a ritual that necessarily leads to marriage. The concept of “casual dating” is thought as something “immoral”. Also, most Indian women, necessarily marry along religious lines, if not caste lines. And hence, Hindus have a better shot at getting an Indian girlfriend/wife than guys like me.
