My wife is an American of Chinese ethnicity. I am a white American. I encouraged our daughters to date white, asian or “hapa” (white/asian mix) boys. Both were adamant in not wanting to date an asian boy, but neither would tell me why.
Stereotypes do not occur by ‘magic.’
“Race” is a misnomer.
“Ethnic Heritage” is more accurate.
Unless one accepts the “evolution” arguments.
If one goes by the Biblical account, we are all one race, going back to Noah, then further back to Adam.

In my experience, North American and European women are a pain in the patoot. Asian women are caring, beautiful and attentive to their man’s wants and desires.
That last sentence is anathema to N.A. and European women; that’s why the men like women from other countries.

As long as the gal I’m interested in is of the human race & isn’t stupid, I can deal with the rest. Racial preferences are irrelevant to me. Red hair and curvy figure helps though.

As for Asian girls, they are cute, I was never into them for the idea that they were submissive, just the opposite...they can pull off an uber-fem tomboy with ease...and regardless of race, that is always cool.

Every white girl I met who would only date black guys made me feel bad for the black guys. Those chicks typically had some bad issues.
The only black guy I knew that would only date non-black women was trying to escape the "ATTITUDE". Had an attractive African American girl treated him as a human being she would have found herself a good man in him. Instead, a very happy German girl got him...and two of the finest looking kids I've ever seen.

I know many people who will date out, but only marry in.
Many middle aged and older men in this country are turning to Thailand and the Philippines for a second or third wife. Filipinas especially, as most already speak English and are Christian (Catholic, for the most part). Why don’t the Indian & Pakistani immigrants get on an airplane like these other men and find a nice girl in that part of the world? If they are in computer sciences or medicine, they will be considered a “great catch” in the P.I. and their ideas about marrying a younger woman are reflected there as well, as far as I can tell.
For instance, the Asian women who want to marry Asian men may be doing just fine meeting Asian men. As a result, they don't need to hire a dating service. The ones who are going to the dating service may only be ones who are having trouble finding non-Asian men. In that case, there's no general preference of Asian women for non-Asian men.
I was a little surprised at the idea of black women who were not interested in non-black men. I've run into a few black women who were okay dating men of other "races." I wonder whether this situation is another example of a difference between women in general and those who hire a dating service.
For whatever it's worth, I can't say that I have any strong racial preferences anymore. At this point in my life, I know I'm not likely to find someone anyway. If I find someone who attracts me and is good for me, I certainly can't afford to reject her over race.

My God-daughter and her sister have a hispanic mother and an asian father. Both are in thier early to mid 20’s now and are really attractive young ladies. Like the study says, they do not date asian men. Never have too.
Hmm; Nothing in there about hispanics. Maybe they don’t use dating services?
I’m in the category of white women who likes all races. I don’t understand why Asian men are rejected, I have never noticed them as being real old fashioned unless they are not educated. Some of the Indian guys are incredibly good looking, so that’s a little baffling that they don’t get dates - I imagine being in computers is the tough part for being perceived as interesting and attractive by women.
I used to live in Asia and I would see the white-guy-in-Asia thing going on, white guys who’d only be looking for Asian women, and I remember it used to piss off the white Brit and Aussie women, but I don’t think it’s a geisha thing, I think white guys just think Asian women are very beautiful, which they often are. They might be tough and martinet-like, but white guys don’t like someone too clingy and gooey and obsessed with talking abou ‘our relationship’ so I can see why there is a balance of attraction at times.
Asian women are considered attractive not only due to their cuteness also their slim figures, it is hard to consistenly find such slim, well maintained body shapes among other groups.
Asian women prefer Caucasian men strongly because of the Eurasian babies factor, such mixed race children are considered beautiful, exotic and desired back in their home nations and given preferences.
My wife is Japanese. Very close to my age, and I love her because I just do.
I do take a little heat from white women, but mostly they just assume I was after the subservient wife etc. blah, blah, blah. giesha. blah, blah, blah.
Well, I wish them luck. For me, I like a woman to be just that. Many white women are very womanly, and so are women of many of other races. I just didn’t end up with one of them. I just wish the ones with the chip could let go of the stereotypes. My wife deserves better.
