It’s like a gay guy coming out of the closet after a photo of him in an San Francisco bathhouse has made the front page of the paper.
He should have just been honest in the first place.

Well, Rudy just laid down the gauntlet. He thinks he can win the nomination without pro-lifers. Even though only thirty percent of his current support is strongly committed to voting for him.

His lying didn’t work so he’s now going to try a little stiff arming. Will the pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun planks be removed from the GOP platform to accommodate Rudy?

At the same time, Mr. Giulianis campaign seeking to accomplish the unusual task of persuading the Republican Party to nominate an abortion rights supporter as its presidential candidate is eyeing a path to the nomination that would try to de-emphasize the early states in which abortion opponents wield a great deal of influence. Instead they would focus on the so-called mega-primary of Feb. 5, in which voters in states like California, New York and New Jersey are likely to be more receptive to Mr. Giulianis social views than voters in states like Iowa and South Carolina.************
I pray Giuliani is not our nominee. The duplicity of the man is astounding.

Sounds presidential.

LOL! Rudy can’t run as being personally against abortion, as his history shows him to be a bloody champion of same. So now, in desperation, he admits to what he is. Pathetic.

Is Rudy hoping to run on the Democratic ticket?
Pro-aborts believe in a dog-eat-dog society and think the weakest are expendable.
They're not the kind of people I'd like to have in charge of determining the future of our country.
They're not the kind of people I'd like to be with on a sinking ship, either.

Guessing Giuliani really isn’t interested in that job as Special Assistant to the Deputy Assistant of the Assistant Secretary for Manufactured and Modular Homes over at HUD.

If Rudy thinks he is going to win the Republican primary in ANY state by emphasizing his pro-abortion views then he has really lost it. There may be less Republican voters in CA, NY, and NJ but those that are there still embrace the party platform which includes being pro-life. But hey, if Rudy wants to run a horrible campaign strategy that’s fine with me, it will make it that much easier to get rid of him.

Remember this is a NYT article. They are doing everything they can to shoot down the Republican candidates.
Looks like they are doing quite well looking at the responses on this thread.
