Moonbats are Targeting Recruiters on May 19th (What a coincidence!)

May 9th, 2007

May 19 - National Truth About Recruiters Day

On May 19th, 2007, Armed Forces Day, people will set up information tables and hold events outside military recruiting offices across the country to tell the truth about military recruiters. Iraq War Military Resister, Terri Johnson, who went AWOL from the Army rather than be sent to the illegal war in Iraq, told the crowd at the April 21 anti-war rally in Greensboro, NC that we all needed to be at the recruiters offices to tell young people the truth. This is the beginning of such an effort and we will continue these activities on a daily basis. Join us to help expose military recruiters lies and keep them out of our schools and communities.

The good news?  Our ORA event will dwarf their petty, America-hating efforts.

The bad news?  I don’t have anyone signed up for ORA to cover Charlotte NC yet.

Since this is the beginning of their garbage, how about joining our 225+ commitments for Operation Recruiter Appreciation (ORA) across 47 states and D.C.?  We still need participation from AR, MT, NE and WY.  What an opportunity we have here, to both honor America’s recruiters and demoralize the clueless moonbats.  Please click the link for details as to how you can honor our recruiters and military through GOE’s Operation Recruiter Appreciation:

http://gatheringofeagles.org/?p=348

See this map for participating sites and states (no longer current, being updated with more sites/states right now):

Hat tip to Kathy in VT for providing me this lead.  Eagles up!

  1. Coop Says:

If reading the above makes you angry (and I hope it does), please consider joining our ORA efforts. You can spend as much or as little money as you like, and use your imagination to find creative ways of honoring and thanking our military recruiters.

If you cannot participate, or already are, then please take a minute or two to spread the word about ORA, especially to friends & colleagues in the states not yet accounted for. Thank you.

I wish I were close. These people aren’t against recruiters, but against the military.

Recruiters have a hard job. The ONLY thing people need to be warned about is to read the contract where it states plainly that the Army will fulfill only those promises stated in the box.

What the hell is happening to Charlotte? During the Vietnam era, you would have gotten your arse kicked for trying this in Charlotte.

Looking at some of those gnarly moonbats would give any kid incentive to enlist.

Great idea. Kick a Moonbat’s Ass Day should be a national holiday.

" Iraq War Military Resister, Terri Johnson, who went AWOL from the Army rather than be sent to the illegal war in Iraq, told the crowd at the April 21 anti-war rally in Greensboro, NC"

What am I missing here? Why isn't this guy locked up if he is AWOL?

It's a she.

She was arrested, apparently pled guilty, and was given a dishonorable discharge and time served (4 days I believe).

SHE - some people consider her a hero. Read here if you want more.

Here's an excerpt:

The 18-year-old Johnson, who is the granddaughter of past Greensboro NAACP President Gladys Shipman, deliberately failed to complete her final fitness test at Fort Jackson in South Carolina, and then went AWOL on Sept. 28, 2006, the day before graduation.

"I'm not anti-war one hundred percent because some wars are worth fighting for," Johnson said in a tearful address at Governmental Plaza. "But this war is not worth fighting for.

She is not a hero. She is a traitor.

Oops! “Monnbat” should be “Moonbat.”

Go ARMY! Go MARINE CORPS! Go NAVY! Go AIR FORCE!

Go COAST GUARD! Go NATIONAL GUARD!

Republicans want to defeat the terrorists.

Democrats want to defeat the Republicans.
