The President and the First lady spent the weekend in Washington.
On Saturday the President went for a bike ride and encouraged fellow Americans to exercise.
On Sunday he talked about the weekend's devastating storms after attending services at Saint John's Church with the First Lady.
Today he welcomed Queen Elizabeth II to the White House during which they inspected the troops and afterwards the Queen and President Bush went on of her customodary walkabouts and met with local school children and students outside the White House.
This evening the President held a State Dinner at the White House in the Queen's honour. As I am posting there is no photos or guest list on the White House website if this is posted shortly I will will post this on the dose.

Are the decorations on Queen Elizabeth’s sash merely decorative, or do they represent her position or achievments? And, BTW, Laura’s dress is just lovely.

More details of the State Dinner which indicates the guest list is secret whether this means it will not be published full stop or whether it will be released later tonight only time will tell.

For the 8 years of clintons, I refused to watch the news or look at pictures of this kind of event. What a relief to have a REAL and decent, good President and First Lady.
The queen’s dresses have all been lovely for this trip. Thanks for an elegant dose tonight snugs. I love the flower arrangements in the state dining room.
