Ladyinred has been diagnosed with lung cancer and it is bad. It has been there for some time with no symptoms. She has taken a couple of Chemo treatments but they will not be able to cure this. They hope to stop the growth for as long as possible.
Please also remember Chadsworth in your prayers, as he is taking this very hard.
In a note to me, ladyinred said ..... "I would appreciate your prayers of course, as that is all that can really help me."
As Chadsworth told me, the only thing that will make a difference is a miracle through the power of prayer.
Thank you for your prayers!
So sad. Rest In Peace ...................... God Bless
thank you for your kind words. The sentiments expressed by LIR’s husband touched me to the core and I wept for his loss but also for all of us who have been separated from our loved ones. The journey ahead alone is hard but we have been blessed to have known this much love.
May she rest in peace with the Lord.
I’ll remember her family and loved ones in my prayers tonite
Prayers for you and your family.
That is so wonderful! I would agree that it was most likely what was happening. I truly feel that the Lord and His Angels are all around us during our time of passing. It sounds like that’s exactly what was happening to Connie. Again, how wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing that with us, as well as her picture. What a beauty she was! :)
Rest in peace, Lady in Red.
Carolyn
We all miss her Tom. She is at rest now. Prayers.
Will keep you in my prayers for a while.
I am so sorry for your loss.
What a blessing your dear Connie has been to FR! We are all blessed by “knowing” her. May God give you comfort and strength and the prayers of many lift you and sustain you.
God bless and be with you and all those who love Connie.
May God wrap His arms around you.
Just read this today. God rest her precious soul and keep you in His arms of strength and comfort.
Prayers and condolences for you, etabeta, in your own loss....
Thank you Chadsworth and Clovis_Skeptic, husband and brother of dear Connie, for your descriptions of what has occurred.
We only see through a glass darkly....but now she sees Him face to face! Yet He gave you a glimpse of His own presence, and Heaven’s reality, as she left this world. How gracious He is and how true it is that precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints!
Heard this song today - “How are things at home”....oh my, play it later when you don’t mind crying some more...

Janet Paschal singing - “How are things at Home?”
Peace to her, and to you.
Thank you for that sweet picture - of Connie as a child? And of the words she spoke last Saturday! Yes, indeed -
There’s a song by the 2nd Chapter of Acts ....
called “Mansion Builder”....
Why should I worry
Why should I fret
For I have a mansion builder....
(Who ain’t through with me yet...)
Connie has now met her “mansion builder” and is enjoying the riches He has lavished upon His beloveds, including her!
Our Abundant Riches in Jesus start now - but they surely become “crystal” clear when His child steps on the shore of heaven and finds her new HOME prepared just for her by Her Lord!
Wow. What a sight she has seen. Maybe she caught a glimpse of it while still on this earth....thanks for giving us her final “Freeper” report of what she saw at that moment....
But, still, hearts are heavy in missing dear Lady in Red - Connie - your beloved and precious sister. Here is a prayer for God’s marvleous Comforter to come to you and all Connie’s loved ones tonight and in the days ahead bringing you peace and even joy at this difficult and sorrowing time.
Thanks for the ping SJ. I can’t even begin to say how sorry I am to hear of Connie’s passing. She seemed to be doing so well, just a short while ago, that I had hoped she would be with us for a while longer. She will be greatly missed.
