Ladyinred has been diagnosed with lung cancer and it is bad. It has been there for some time with no symptoms. She has taken a couple of Chemo treatments but they will not be able to cure this. They hope to stop the growth for as long as possible.
Please also remember Chadsworth in your prayers, as he is taking this very hard.
In a note to me, ladyinred said ..... "I would appreciate your prayers of course, as that is all that can really help me."
As Chadsworth told me, the only thing that will make a difference is a miracle through the power of prayer.
Thank you for your prayers!
Hallelujah! May His name be praised for this Gift He gives freely.
As I read Tom's message, the song No More Nights came to mind. Follow the link to a you tube presentation by David Phelps at a Gaither Family Gathering
Thank you for sharing the e-mail.
More prayers for Connie and all of her loved ones.

Oh, Amy, how hard it was to read that email from Tom! How beautifully he expressed his love for his very special Connie.
My heart is breaking for everyone who loves her and is suffering through this difficult time. Having just lost my beloved Mother a few short weeks ago, I know the pain of saying goodbye. I am praying that Angels surround Connie and that God comforts her family and friends with His perfect peace.
Later, after we get home, I will write privately to Tom. I think it is important that he knows how Connie touched people’s lives and how much those of us who were blessed to know her are going to miss her.
Thanks for posting his email. What a beautiful love they share!
If I come across mntgrl’s email address, I will send it to you. I seem to have lost it out of my address book also, but may have it elsewhere.
This morning at 2:05 a.m. the LadyinRed converted her red clothes to a White Robe.
I and some local friends were with her at her passing. And, as could be expected she managed to start her trip to her new home with grace and class. Her moment was with very little commotion and alot of dignity.
Although it was difficult, I have read most of the posts about LIR. It makes me so proud of her and I want to thank each of you for your long distance love and continued kind and loving words about her.

I posted a notice about LIR while my computer was signed on with Clovis_Skeptic — oops— but here it is again

May she rest in peace.
A sad day in Freeper Land indeed.
Rest in Peace, Ladyinred.
And comfort to you Tom.
Prayers for comfort, strength and peace continue for this wonderful family.
There is a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye, but I also know that Connie is in the very best place there is.
Tom and Clovis,
I am happy for Connie—she is beyond the pain and in a truly wonderful place. But my heart is breaking for the two of you and for all of those who knew and loved Connie. May God grant you peace and bring you comfort in His love and in your memories of Connie’s love.
Susan
